We stayed on the 2nd floor. Every room had an air conditioner so we were comfortable during a warm long weekend. Back wood stairway was a little rickety to climb, but I have no complaints! Great place to stay and so close to downtown. Lots of things to do and see (art/music). Good pizza and a brewery right across the street!

Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. The stairs are safe but yes need to be replaced and doing so very soon. Also widening the upper deck to the maximum (10 to 16”) allowable to fit the structure beneath. To fit a couple more chairs.

Space was cozy. James is an excellent host who is very responsive and willing to stop by and give guidance or additional items if needed. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking just about anything. Loved having coffee on the enclosed porch in the mornings. Also appreciated the proximity to the local attractions. Came for soccer in Farmington. Was an easy drive and appreciated having laundry facilities. Would stay again!

The host was great, listing was amazing the location was great , no noise . Beds where comfy. And only thing I can say negative is the coffee pit might need replacement I would've said something to host but , I made it work it kept putting grinds in the coffee, and wouldn't drip right but I would definitely stay there again good money for the property.

I’m sorry you had a problem with the coffee maker. If the paper filter is not ripped coffee grounds would stay in the coffee basket. I’ll have a look at it right away. Thanks for taking such good care of my rental property.

House felt like home cozy clean and peaceful . Host James is friendly knowledgeable he thought of everything possible from snacks to ointment etc just to make our stay easy, pleasant and memorable. We enjoyed our stay there. Excellent location, we could walk to any of the several restaurants across the street. The walkways and driveway were cleared of snow for us which was really nice to not have to worry about that. He even cleared off the car. If we're ever in the area again we would stay here again for sure.

James was very welcoming and helpful. The home is in a great location, near many restaurants. The home is spacious and nicely decorated. It was very comfortable overall, if a bit rustic. Overall a great place in this part of Connecticut.

Wonderful stay. Cute, clean, well organized, stocked and the owner was very responsive when we had a power issue that was 100% out of their control. He even shared some local recommendations including an oddities museum across the street!
