Waterfront Duck Key Villa

Come and enjoy Duck Key in the Florida Keys, known as America's Caribbean, a lush shangri-la with tropical vegetation and turquoise waters. Enjoy the day fishing from the dock, Lake Lucille, the Atlantic Ocean or the Gulf of Mexico, all interconnected in the sunny Florida Keys. This bit of the American Caribbean is teeming with fish. Walk out your back door to our lanai and enjoy your coffee or a cocktail. On several occasions we have enjoyed manatees off our lanai. Either rent a fishing pole or bring yours and fish right off the dock also steps away from our lanai.

Snorkeling, deep sea fishing, jet skiing or just plain doing nothin' is your choice. Perhaps, you would like to rent a bike and enjoy the scenery the island has to offer. We have a company we recommend that will drop off bikes and kayaks for rentals. Our villa is comfortably decorated with a tropical Florida Keys decor. Either choose to cook and eat in or visit one of the many world class restaurants & bars the middle Florida Keys has to offer. Our kitchen offers everything for the gourmet cook. Need help choosing some restaurants and sites to visit? We will share our favorites with you. Our unit is located near the geographic center of the Florida Keys at mile marker 61. Key West is 61 miles South, Key Largo is 40 miles North, perfect for day trips to see everything in between that the Florida Keys has to offer. Sometimes you don't know what to expect when you rent through VBRO, but from us you can expect the best!! Rates are subject to change until confirmed. Applicable taxes of 12.5% will be charged for all bookings. All reservations must be paid in full 30 days in advance of the scheduled stay. No refunds within the 30 days of stay unless in the event of a named storm. Rental is for use of the villa only.

We offer the cleanest well kept villa in the Florida Keys. After every stay the villa is completely cleaned and sanitized down to the remote control in each room.

AMAZING CONDO AND LOCATION

This is one of the nicest places I have rented through VRBO. Great location in the middle of the Keys and close enough to Marathon to be convenient. All of the kitchen items like dishes, pots/pans, glasses, coffee maker, toaster, etc were better than the usual. I loved the fluffy bath towels and all of the soaps and lotions in kitchen and bathrooms. I would highly recommend this place. Thank you for a great surprise for my mother-in-law

Great location

The property provided three bedrooms, which was great. The outside porch was a real benefit with a great view of the waterway. We were fishing at grassy cay so that the location was particularly convenient.

We did the reservations through v r b o and they did not tell us that we could not use the pool. We tried to communicate with the host Heather, but she did not respond to our email, texts, or snapchat the entire week we were there. If we were not able to use the pool because we're using v r b o the host should have said something while we were booking the trip or have it in the description. If I could give a negative star I would.It was just an awful experience.My kids were so disappointed that couldn't use the pool.

Property is just as described Communication with a host was seamless Property is extremely clean, including outside patio There are enough kitchen, utensils, and glassware for a big group. Keurig coffee was a nice plus. Extremely quiet neighborhood. There is a gym next-door, $75 per week pass was all the necessary equipment. I would love to return!

Lovely villa

We had a great time at this lovely villa in Duck Key! The location was excellent -- close to activities on Marathon and elsewhere -- and the community was quiet and comfortable. The location of of the villa on the canal was perfect, and we enjoyed our time spent relaxing on the porch. Check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the accommodations were very comfortable. We had no issues/problems whatsoever and would highly recommend this villa! :)

Was moved from Duck Keys to Marathon

Property in Marathon was nice but after we checked in we received no replies from Heather about our concerns. The washer was not working so we could not replenish the bath towels so we used the pool towels and couldn’t do laundry. Nice pool.

Great location on Hawks Cay Resort

Perfect location, on the Hawks Cay property. Very clean, adequate space. East parking. A few downsides: Kitchen not stocked with basics (salt/pepper, coffee filters), very difficult to communicate with property manager, as I tried through VRBO, cell number via text or call. You will not have access to resort amenities like the pools and lagoon, which is one of the best benefits of being on the hawks cay property, so plan to get a room through the hotel if you want to enjoy them. Overall a great location and property but made a bit stressful by the lack of communication.

This is a wonderful place to stay, but be prepared to bring or buy all kitchen supplies. Unlike many rentals there were no coffee filters, any plastic wrap, baggies or other essentials.

family getaway at duck key

We spent four nights at duck key with 10 of us (one family; kids from 20 down to 4y old) and Heather's property was perfect. The kids swam, rode paddleboards and fished from the dock and we took day excursions to Bahia Honda and Key West. We slept fine and the kitchen was sufficient. The water was beautiful and the breeze on the back porch made sitting outside quite relaxing. Communication was a little slow and there is no grill/grilling allowed at hawks cay, so plan accordingly. Overall we can't complain, it was a very good stay and we will seriously consider booking again.

Great Visit

We had a great week in Duck Key at this property. The property was comfortable and as described in the listing. The location was great and it was very convenient being able to walk to the main resort to grab coffee and snacks. We didn’t spend much time in Duck Key but it was a very peaceful place to wake up and fall asleep each night. My kids loved walking the boardwalk and saw several fish and even a manatee! Heather was extremely friendly, helpful and responsive via text. We would stay here again!

Property was good.......I sent an email before we arrived stating that this was a continuation of the Pete Oaks stay and that I should not have to pay for the extra fees. Also Pete made contact to credit my card and bill his for the Sunday stay.....I have not received a response or credit yet.....please let me know!!

A Very Relaxing Vacation

We had a wonderful stay at the property. The location was great for us to visit both the Upper and Lower Keys. The view from the back porch and balcony is beautiful. We rented a kayak and were able to launch it from the dock behind the villa. My daughter really wants to come back, as she said the location and property was ideal.
