This is a great location, with sea views. We were very happy with the accommodation. We couldn't find any saucepans but the host helped very quickly by telling us about the 'secret' drawer below the oven. Loved the island!

Presque parfait

Maison agréable et idéalement située, mais l’adverbe « presque » s’applique à quasiment tout… Ménage presque parfait : tout ce qui se voit est propre, le reste laisse à désirer (sol taché sous et derrière le canapé, tableau de commande des radiateurs « collant », bol de la cafetière collé au socle par du café séché, égouttoir à couverts sale, restes de pâte à crêpe sur le fouet, coussins du canapé tachés, intérieur des tiroirs et placards pas propre, linge à vaisselle malodorant…). Vaisselle presque complète : pas de tasse à café ni de mug, juste 4 verres avec une anse, 1 seule casserole, pas de couvercle pour la poêle, peu de couverts. Poubelle presque en bon état : pédale et couvercle cassés. La cafetière est presque une Senseo comme indiqué à ma demande par la propriétaire : c’est une Nespresso… (dommage car l’épicerie de l’île ne vend que des dosettes Senseo). La table de cuisine est presque de taille normale : c’est une table de salon… avec 2 (!) tabourets bas sans dossier (pas de chaises). Le soir, l’intimité est presque parfaite : pas de rideaux occultants aux fenêtres et à la porte d’entrée, volets cassés ne fermant plus… Le déshumidificateur fonctionnait presque, car il était plein à ras bord. Séparément, chacun de ces « petits » détails est presque sans importance, mais mis les uns au bout des autres, ils entachent fortement la qualité de cette location, à qui il ne manque pas grand-chose pour être parfaite (peut-être juste un peu d’application dans l’entretien).
