This was an ideal rental for 2 couples! We enjoyed a week there at the Reef. The views were beautiful and everyone at the resort was super friendly! Sadly there was quite a bit of seaweed while we were there, but the resort tried hard to keep up with it. We rented a car and traveled the entire island. We had the opportunity to eat out at many good restaurants, but also took advantage of all inclusive package for 3 nights as well. A truly relaxing and memorable vacation!

Absolutely loved it, the kids had a blast. The pool has nice shallow areas for the kids and. A deeper end for the adults. The beach is right there if that's what you prefer. Grocery store is right across the street. They had a basket of sunscreen for use which was so lovely. We used their website with recommendations of places to eat and we were not disappointed! Our family just stayed here for five nights and I wish we could have stayed longer. The condo was beautiful and well equipped for our family of five. The resort was great and it was close to a grocery store, liquor store and several restaurants. That end of the island was definitely quiet which was exactly what we were looking for. We would definitely stay here again.

What a beautiful condo--ocean front with amazing views of the Caribbean, sunrises, etc! The Condo was super clean...great location with a grocery/liquor store and italian restaurant right across the street. PLUS, at The Wyndham Reef, there is a great bar/restauranct, also right on the water. Communication with the owners was fantastic! We will be back!

Wonderful!

The location and property was perfect for us! We liked the East End as it's a bit slower paced which is what we love! Snorkeling was excellent! Tuuka's restaurant is a must; catch the frigate feeding! And at the end of each day we fell into the most comfy beds! A+ for the beds!

Great stay on the East End

We had a wonderful time visiting Grand Cayman. This condo is even better then the pictures, it actually seems larger in person (which is normally the opposite with most listings). The condo was well equipped, had everything we needed and a wonderful ocean front patio to enjoy our meals on. We have no regrets. Location is a little remote if you are looking to explore the island but we rented a car so that wasn't a problem at all. If you are wanting to have a quiet vacation with not many people around, this is the location for you!

We had a wonderful vacation here. The condo is very nice and clean, exactly as described. The best part is that BR and LR balconies are directly over the ocean and you can have breakfast with amazing views or sleep listening to the ocean… Bryon is super responsive. We had an issue with one of the showers that was immediately addressed even though it was over the holidays Would highly recommend

Amazing ocean views

This condo had amazing ocean front views. It was great to have the beach steps away, most days there weren't many people at the beach. The location was very quite away from the hustle and bustle of 7 mile beach. Yet you had a grocery store across the street, and several great resturant options near by. Byron was great to was very quick to respond and even helped us get a discount on the rebtal car. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation.

Great stay on East End

We had a great stay at this unit. We choose to stay on the quieter side and were glad we did. The unit had everything we needed and had plenty of space for our family of 5. The murphy beds worked great for us. We did a few of the Wyndham activities but spent most of the time at the beach or the pool next door. The snorkeling was great just from the beach. It was really convenient having the grocery store across the street. I would recommend this and stay there again.

My wife and I started traveling in 2002 immediately after we were married. When our first son was born we packed him up and took him along on our trips. Our son’s first trips were to Bora Bora and to the beautiful Caribbean Islands of Barbados and St. Lucia.
Five years later, our second son was born, and our travel crew grew! Our second boy quickly joined in on our love for travel...his first trip was to Aruba.

We live in Toronto, Canada, an amazing multi-cultural city. We consider ourselves fortunate to call Canada home. We are insatiable when it comes to travelling, we want to explore the world as well as spend some time in our own backyard visiting all the beautiful destinations Canada has to offer.

Why they chose this property

We purchased our condo in Grand Cayman in early 2020. We had been considering purchasing a property in Cayman Islands for some time, finally making the decision to move ahead. Castaways Cove is located on the East End of Grand Cayman, which is the quiet side of the island. The 1600 feet of beachfront allows for lengthy walks and great snorkeling and swimming. Wyndham has an abundance of amenities (including pools, a beach front restaurant, water sports, fitness center, and a tennis court. There's a neighboring resort with a restaurant and a few decent restaurants close by and a small grocery store directly across the street.

What makes this property unique

We fell in love with Grand Cayman on our first time in Grand Cayman in 2009 and many trips thereafter to Grand Cayman. Cayman Islands has stunning beaches and an abundance of great restaurants. Cayman Islands are safe and welcoming to tourist... Caymanians and the residence on Cayman are wonderful and hospitable.
