We enjoyed our stay at Jacks house. Jack lives close by and is available whenever you have questions or issues. Everything was in proper working order. The location is minutes away from the strip. And there’s plenty of space for everyone.

Our stay was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Jack, the host, was top-notch—his communication was excellent and he made himself available at all times for any questions or needs, although everything was so well-prepared that we didn’t need assistance at all. The house was well stocked with the necessities for any trip!We stayed for five days while attending a cheer competition, and it was the perfect home base for our trip. The kids absolutely loved the amenities, and one of the highlights was the animals—they really connected with the dogs Blue, Birdie and Rex the tortoise, and it made the experience even more memorable.Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we would definitely choose this property again in the future. Highly recommend!

Disappointing Stay — Cleanliness, Maintenance and Privacy ConcernsOur group of four visited for a golf trip. Unfortunately, the property fell short of expectations regarding cleanliness, maintenance, security, and privacy.Outdoor furniture was dirty and stained, and the pool was cluttered with floating tubes and other items. The fridge and tap water appeared cloudy, refrigerator change-filter lights were illuminated, and TVs in two bedrooms did not work. An outdoor chair broke while one of our group was sitting in it. The inside of the house was not as clean as it should have been. One sliding door had no functioning lock and relied on a pole in the track for security.The listing stated the owner lived next door, but he actually stayed in a casita on the property. He frequently greeted us immediately upon returning from outings, making us uncomfortable and feeling that our activities were being observed. We expected greater privacy.His two large dogs roamed freely around the property. We all like dogs. Although friendly, their presence was not disclosed. On our final evening, the thermostat was unexpectedly set to 78 degrees, although none of us had adjusted it, adding to our privacy concerns.Overall, disappointing. Better cleanliness inside and out, maintenance, security, and respect for guest privacy would have greatly improved our stay. We would not return.

Jack does everything he can to make sure you have a great stay. The place was clean with everything you'd can imagine for a stay is Las Vegas.

Away from crowds and Private

Perfect place for family get together or for sports teams coming for tournaments. Host was very nice and kept away from us for privacy, great job. The owner was very nice and easy to work with.

Great Vacation

I traveled with 8 friends and we had a great time. It was only 10 mins from the strip and the house was huge and clean with fun things to do. Jack the owner was always available when needed

Great property

We loved our stay at the Ponderosa. Lots of room and lots of extra room for activities. The location is perfect, close to the airport and close to the strip. Our only complaint would be as follows: need new towels, sheets and outdoor cushions. Thanks for a great stay.

Vegas Stay

The property was a short Uber ride to the Vegas strip . Stores for food shopping were only about a mile away easy walk. Jack the owner was very helpful, Jack does live on property in sperate apartment but never a bother.

House exceeded all expectations. The property was awesome, pool/ hot tub were great. TV's pretty much in every room along with bluetooth speakers made hanging out in any space so much better. Owner lived in property next door making any questions or concerns a non-issue. The owner does have 2 incredibly friendly dogs who find their way on to the front of the property so I would recommend just informing the owner if you are allergic!

Family get together

Host was super with communication and answering any questions. House was nice with rooms on both ends so one side of house quiet and kids had the other to themselves. Outside area was nice and our dog had a lot of space with everything fenced in. Not more than 10 minute uber to about anywhere! We will be back!
