Situated between the Lot and the Dordogne, La Petite Fagette is at the heart of many excursions, hiking, mountain biking, car tours, fishing. You can discover beautiful villages such as Puy-l'Évêque, Gourdon, Rocamadour, Sarlat...
The gîte is just outside the charming little village of Frayssinet-le-Gélat. Less than 10 km from all amenities, La Petite Fagette is located in one of the most beautiful regions of France with its castles, its gastronomy and its vineyards. You will also enjoy the activities linked to the Dordogne and the Lot.
The gîte itself is a charming little house with 3 bedrooms (one upstairs), a living/dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a barbecue, a swimming pool, all set in a lovely garden. A nice corner for relaxation, reading, board games (children's games and board games) awaits you on the first floor.
Tranquility and freshness are the order of the day thanks to the beach trees and the small stream which border the property.

A French paradise
Despite arriving in heavy rain, the sunshine was shining in our hearts when we saw Le Petite Fagette - we had been constantly looking at the photos online ever since we booked the property in 2023, and the reality did not disappoint.
For two weeks it was a real home-from-home, and it became our base for driving over 1000km, visiting many amazing villages and towns, or just discovering the stunning countryside of the Lot region - never a dull moment !!
The Gîte was perfect, and we wanted for nothing - everything was provided by our excellent hosts, Corinne & Stephane.
Despite living a distance away, they were always available to text or message via the VRBO app.
This was a holiday that we will always remember, and we cannot thank our hosts enough.
If you want idyllic bliss in an area that has surprises around every bend, then this is for you.
Oh ….. and the private swimming pool was just the icing on the cake !!
We visited so many places, but Rocamadour, St-Cirq-Lapopie, Cahor and Luzech were amongst the most memorable.
