Featuring a beautiful mix of stone and wood, this house full of charm is quite isolated in the countryside and located 4 km from the fortifications of Monpazier, one of the most beautiful villages in France.

Das Haus ist mit allem überdurchschnittlich ausgestattet, uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Sauber, hoher Standard, bequeme Betten, alles bestens und liebevoll dekoriert. Der Pool ist ein Traum und das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und abgeschieden. Auch die Umgebung ist mit ihren Burgen und den Flüssen/ der Natur ein Besuch wert. Wir haben uns erholt und sehr wohl gefühlt.

Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette maison, décorée avec goût. L'espace extérieur est idéal pour se reposer et la piscine vous permet de vous délasser après les visites des grottes ou châteaux des alentours . De très bonnes vacances en Dordogne

Nous avons ete très bien accueilli dans une maison neuve doté d un équipement complet sur un terrain magnifique en bordure de forêt.La maison est moderne, chaleureuse décorée avec beaucoup de goût et d'une propreté irréprochable. On s y sent très vite comme chez-soi! La proximité de Montpazier est appréciable pour la beauté du cite et les petits commerces. Excellente adresse n hesitez pas a réserver!

A beautifully appointed holiday home in a quiet setting close to Monpazier.

We stayed at the property with our young family (children aged 10, 8 and 5 years old) for a week in late August. We have stayed in the area a few times as we have friends in the area but finding this property has been a very pleasant discovery. It's been recently renovated/ built to a very very high standard throughout in early 2015. Everything is as you would want it for a high quality holiday let and the kitchen is fully appointed. It was immaculate throughout. It also has beautiful outside areas. There is a covered terrace overlooking the pool which again was of a very high standard (with pool alarm). There is a built in BBQ area and lots of outdoor furniture to dine or lounge on. The table tennis table was also a nice addition to while away the time. Whilst we were there the weather was very warm and the building stayed cool throughout the day with the pool consistently between 24-26 degrees/C which was nice and refreshing but not too cold for the children to spend long periods splashing about. Cecile was on hand when we arrived and was a great host. She answered a couple of queries and then left us to it before meeting us at the property at the end of our stay. She was very accommodating and helpful returning at one point on request with some towels. We would not fail to recommend the property to friends and we thought that it offered really good value for money considering such exacting standards. The house was within easy reach of Monpazier at approx 3km so a 5 min drive maximum. It's in a very peaceful setting and private too. We enjoyed exploring the river via canoe, the night market at Monflanquin and Monpazier itself. Another great location is the swimming lake at Lougratte. We look forward to returning some time soon.

Location formidable a tous points de vue

Nous avons passé de formidables vacances dans cette location proche de Monpazier. L'emplacement est idéal pour les gens qui veulent être dans la nature et au calme. Monpazier, qui est une des plus belles bastides de la région sans être toutefois assaillie de touristes, se trouve a 3km avec tous les commerces de proximité et quelques bons restaurants. La rénovation de la location en elle-même est très récente donc tout est nickel. Les pièces intérieures sont belles, spacieuses et bien ammeublées avec goût. L'exterieur est très très bien aussi avec la piscine, un coin ombragé pour manger et un barbecue.Tout est comme dans le déscriptif de l'annonce mais en mieux! Les échanges avec les prioritaires ont été tres cordiaux, simples et sans le moindre problème. Là encore, très satisfait. A conseiller vivement!

Ideal location for exploring the Dordogne

Set in a lovely quiet location, but only a couple of miles away from Monpazier which has lots of local shops including several bakeries where we bought fresh croissants from each morning. The accomodation was pristine and decorated very tastefully, we didnt use the pool as the weather wasnt too warm, but if it had it would have been great at the end of a busy day sightseeing. The Gite is in a perfect location to explore the Dordogne region and we wouldnt hesitate in returning in the future.

Venez, vous serez contents!

Le Périgord, son cadre, ses sites c'est déjà bien. Le calme, les asperges et les fraises et les produits plus classiques régionaux améliorent beaucoup l'ordinaire. Si en plus vous ajoutez, une maison bien agencée, accueillante, simple d'entretien, et absolument complète et confortable, sans oublier une propriétaire sympathique, vous viendrez sans hésitation. Alors, n'hésitez plus,venez.
