Met expectations. A couple of bumps on arrival but quickly resolved. Walk to most public transportation and accessible to tourist attractions. Important to note, first floor does not mean the bottom, it is actually the top floor! Was challenging, with our group,as we are seniors with some health issues.
We recently stayed at this location, and I wanted to provide a review, as the property did not have one at the time of our booking. As far as location, the apartment is located in a relatively convenient area near tourist sites. However, the neighborhood is described as "somewhat seedy" and "up and coming". We stayed over a weekend period, and it was quite raucous with some interesting characters all around the apartment. The noise was deafening. The apartment has no air conditioning (despite the sign in the apartment telling guests to turn off the AC), but because of the noise and safety concerns, we could not leave the windows open. It was extremely hot, and each bedroom was given only a smallish standing fan. The kitchen is not well appointed if you want to eat or do any cooking. There was a random assortment of silverware and glassware in various forms and numbers. The refrigerator is very small and not properly operational. The entire back of the refrigerator was iced over, and much of the food was frozen and thus inedible. There are no closets in the bedrooms, and the decor is much more random than the pictures suggest. On the last night, there was a leak in the ceiling, leaking into the dining/living area. Based on the brown stain on the ceiling, this leak clearly had occurred before. The owners were forced to turn off the water for a period, leaving us with no running water for that time.
