Great Apartment in great location for tourists. As already reported it gets a bit noisy at night in the 2 front bedrooms and since there is no AC when you close the windows stuffy. The one item the apartment description is ambiguous and shall be clarified is the stairs you need to use to enter the apartment. It is an entire flight of stairs (see include photo) you have to climb after entering the building before you have access to the elevator. The elevator takes you up to the 4th floor and than you have to climb again stairs, probably around 5-6. This is noteworthy when you are traveling with people who are older or may be limited in their movements.

Apartment location perfect, rental agency very poor
We really liked the flat. And the location, on Lisbon's Rua Garett, could not have been better. But service from the rental agency, Lovely Stay, was erratic. I spent a lot more time than I should have trying to get them to answer the simplest of questions. They were particularly bad at providing the information required for us to make the initial booking. I had to chase them down over several days before I could get them to take our booking. And once that was done, it took forever to get them to provide any service. I would recommend that the owners of this flat get a more reputable agent - maybe Plum.
This was a wonderful apartment in an excellent location. If you want to be in the middle of everything in Lisbon, this is for you. The apartment is on a high floor (there is an elevator) with broad, attractive views over Chiado. Large windows leave in a lot of light. The furniture is well-chosen, comfortable.
There is an ensuite bedroom that is large and quiet. If you're a light sleeper, this room is for you. The front bedrooms are a decent size and also bright. That said, if you're a light sleeper, these rooms do overlook a main Chiado thoroughfare and you'll hear the busker and partiers. I am a sound sleeper and had no problem.
We didn't have much interaction with our hosts, Lovely Stay, but we asked for an earlier check-in time, and they were very accommodating. They were friendly and informative.
Cafe A Brasileira is right around the corner and a great place to start your day in Lisbon.
This was a comfortable, spacious apartment in the heart of everything. If you intend to explore Lisbon on foot, this is an ideal home base.
Comfy beds, plenty of space, big windows let in a nice breeze. Host was accommodating.
The street on the side of the apartment with 2 bedrooms is lively but the noise ceases very promptly at a certain time of night (I think it was 11 PM).
There is a flight of steps up to the elevator and the street outside is on a hill so if anyone has limited mobility, it can be a bit tricky. Our party had 1 person with limited mobility but we managed. Walking from this spot is best but it is still possible to get an Uber and the tuk-tuks line up just a few feet away.
Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops, and sites nearby.
The elevator was finnicky and if it decides not to operate, you have to walk up some more steps to the third floor but they aren't steep or difficult.
The primary door was tricky to lock/unlock. This just meant some extra time fiddling with it occasionally but it also dawned on us that this would be a real problem if a fire broke out.
The apartment itself is overall nice.
Positives:
Living and dining areas are spacious
Master bedroom is spacious
Plenty of seating in the living area
Convenient location - however, wish it was on a quieter side street
Negatives:
-Sofa and accent pillows had stains on them. Because we have rental property and I know the owner is not always aware of the state of the property, this falls on the management company. They need to keep the owner informed of what needs to be replaced and updated after renters depart.
-No AC which you know from the listing; however, when guests state the street noise is loud, they really do mean it is loud for the two bedrooms located in the front of the apartment. This noise lingers into the early morning hours. The windows have to be closed to have a buffer from the noise. We were there in September when still hot. There are portable fans, but it is not enough with the windows closed. Would recommend installation of AC units for these two rooms.
-One key was provided for four adults staying in the apartment. This was not convenient since we were not always together. We requested a second key. The management company would not provide one.
-Wifi is very weak. Makes it hard to work if you have multiple people trying to get work done but cannot be in the same room. Wifi only strong enough to work in the main living space only.
