Chiado 8 is located at 12, Travessa Joao de Deus, 3rd floor (no lift) in the desirable Chiado quarter, a trendy, vivid fashionable part of town. Although in the middle of everything flat is located in a small side street quiet at night.
Chiado 8 is a deluxe apartment. A duplex unit, renovated in 2015, extremely spacious, well equipped (A/C in all rooms), refined, comfortable and bright. Location, layout, superb decoration and equipment put this apartment on top of the existing offer in Lisbon.
Flat occupies two floors and can accommodate up to 6 people with full comfort.
On the lower floor you will find the social area, with a huge living room and dinning area, a second TV and reading room, a well equipped kitchen and a guest bathroom (no shower).
On the upper floor you will find the private area. First bedroom is a generous suite, with a king size bed, reading and resting area and private full bathroom. The other two bedrooms have nice areas, all with large closets and refined decor.

Entire apartment is a strictly non smoking unit. Chiado 8 is designed for guests who want to stay in the heart of town in a luxury environment.

Sight seeing

Communication before and during stay was great. Check in very easy as meet by member of staff. Apartment was fabulous and very clean with everything we needed. Great location. Would stay again if visiting Lisbon.

Fabulous location and lovely accommodation

Our family of 5 stayed at Mario’s property for 3 days. We were in a central location to so many of Lisbon’s wonderful sights, restaurants and parks. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Mario was an excellent host and very accommodating when we arrived earlier than expected due to a weather issue. Thank you Nario and team.

Outstanding Rental

This was a terrific base from which to explore Lisboa. There's plenty of space and we all slept well. AC was appreciated. Fairly quiet city neighborhood. Be prepared for lots of exercise (lots of sets of stairs) to get to the grocery stores & sites - we loved it! Highly recommend. Enjoy your stay!

Comfortable apartment in nice location

We really enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to stay there again when visiting Lisbon. Really you are very close to everything and nothing seems to be more that 10-15 minute walk from the sights in Central Lisbon. We were 2 families with 1 18yr old and a 13yr old - they had a separate living room so could watch whatever they wanted on the telly!

Wonderful 3-bedroom, 2-1/2 bath apartment in Chiado

This was a fabulous spacious apartment on a quiet block in Chiado. What a great location and the apartment was fully equipped. Mario and staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provided lots of information regarding local sights and restaurants. We would recommend highly to anyone looking to spend some time in Lisbon...and we would book again the next time we visit Lisbon.

Fantastic

This amazing apartment did not disappoint in any way. There was lots of space (family with two teens) for us all, well furnished, well equipped, and comfy beds. Mario was very helpful before our arrival, during and after. The location is excellent with lots of places to eat nearby and is easy to reach by metro from the airport. Highly recommend

Quiet property in the middle of downtown

First time in Portugal with the family. Loved the appatment. Specious, stylish, clean. We had everything we needed. Mario was very quick to respond, very helpful answering all my question before and during our stay. The appartment is very quiet. Location is great! Right in the middle of tourist activities and the restaurants. Fine view on St Jorge castle.Overall pleasant experience of the appartment and area around.

Quiet and centrally located

The apartment was clean, well equipped and very spacious. Its central location on a small side street meant it was super quiet and easy to walk to most attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed to make eating in easy. Bathrooms were a little dated but very clean and functional. We found the beds to be extremely comfortable and all the bedrooms had lots of storage and plenty of clothes hangers. There is no elevator but we had no issues with the stairs however if you have young children, mobility issues, or exceptionally heavy luggage, you may find the stairs a challenge. Mario was an exceptional host! We had problems with hot water in the main bathroom and Mario had it resolved immediately. Very responsive and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment.

Mostly what we thought we were getting, a few caveats

Coordinating with the office was super easy and flexible. It’s a big place with sleeping capabilities in each room. Seems great for a large group of friends who just want a place to crash. The beds were not very comfy. The walk up stairs (4 stories) was tough with a toddler and the stairs within the apartment weren’t safe for her either. The bathrooms had a musty smell and the hot water sporadically worked. This stuff wouldn’t have mattered if we were out and about all day/night but with naps and bedtime, I spent a lot of time in the apartment and was hoping for something more comfortable/luxurious. Location was great though. Overall, it would be a great place for a different group, just tough with a baby.

Excellent location in Chiado with the cutest shops and restaurants within a few blocks. Also less than a 10 min walk from Rossio station to get to Sintra. We were a group of 6 adults and appreciated that the place was spacious and with the bedrooms on a different floor than common areas. It was also well equipped with laundry (with detergent), dishwasher, and Nespresso maker with pods as well as extra towels. The place is a bit dated with older TV and furniture, the beds could be a little more comfortable, but it has a lot of character and honestly the spaciousness and location can't be beat. There are also lots of nice touches like a hand drawn map of the neighborhood pointing out everything from bakeries and markets. There is no elevator and it's on the 3rd floor but we didn't mind. Check in has to be coordinated in person, but was very helpful and professional.

Great locations. Mario was helpful. Could store luggage. Kitchen was nice. Roomy place. Stairs were worse than we imagined even though we knew there was no elevator before hand. The showers were tiny and water temperature was not predictable. Showers were the biggest negative.

Three of us stayed at this apartment for 4 days in Lisbon, and it was a great experience. The place was super clean and spacious, with everything we needed to feel comfortable: A/C, an espresso machine, washing machine, microwave, fridge, and all the dishes and utensils. It's in a safe, quiet neighborhood but still really central and close to all the main sights. Mario was amazing and always quick to respond and happy to help with any questions or recommendations. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Lisbon!

Spacious, Comfortable and Quiet

Great location on a quiet side street within walking distance to cafes and shops. Condo was exactly as pictured and offered enough sleeping options to make everyone happy.Even though we arrived in the midst of a massive power outage, host was accommodating and quick to respond to our concerns. Be sure to check out the hidden-gem restaurant next door!

Amazing location, great 3 bedroom place with 5 beds, worked great for family of 5

We had a great experience staying here.For reference, we are a family of 5 - parents, 2 teenage boys, 1 teenage girl - so we look for 3 bedroom places with at least 4 beds. This fit that! Location - phenomenal. It is near many great restaurants (we ate at Chef Jose Avillez restaurants and others nearby). It is literally a 2 min walk to these from the apartment. A 5 min walk down goes to Baixa-Chiado area (metro stop, shops, etc). You can also walk down to central Lisbon / Plaza which takes about 15 min, of course then you have to walk back up the hill to the apartment or take a tram/taxi/uber.Mario did a great job communicating. FYI - he will ask for the hotel tax when arriving. He showed us the apartment and gave us some tips which were great. He also helped us by arranging a car service to/from the airport - which was really great to make things easier - someone was waiting for us at the airport (50 euros). There isn't an elevator and the apartment is on the top floor - 3 stories up and then the bedrooms are up more stairs, just an FYI so you can prepare or choose something else if you need an elevator. Layout - 3 bedrooms, 2 baths on the upstairs of the apartment. The other floor of the apartment has a sitting room with table, another small sitting room/office, and a small kitchen with a laundry machine (no dryer, have to hang clothes either outside the window or on the drying rack that was there). Kitchen - has a fridge and coffee machine!

Great location

Excellent location for exploring Chiado, which is full of good restaurants, fun shops and easy Uber access to other neighborhoods. Mario and Rui were available and very helpful. Highly recommended.
