You may be forgiven for thinking you're in SoHo with the 30-foot ceilings and enormous windows in this 1908 historic 2-BR townhome, completely updated with all modern conveniences and comforts, easy parking and cozy tree-shaded deck. Serene and quiet inside, yet a mere 2-minute stroll to half-hour train to Penn Station. You're also steps to Montclair's bustling downtown, boutiques, every kind of cuisine from Ramen to Ethiopian to haute French; breweries and bars (including rooftop bar with NYC skyline views), cute coffeeshops galore, art galleries, nationally renowned Montclair Art Museum, indie bookshops, iconic Jersey delis. Fantastic rental, great location!
This property was perfect for our stay - clean, quiet, close to the downtown Montclair area. The downstairs is laid out well (kitchen, family room, bathroom and wonderful deck!!), the upstairs (bedrooms and bathroom) were perfect for our family. Julia is a responsive hostess, with great recommendations on local amenities. Overall a wonderful experience.
