Your property was very relaxing and a beautiful setting. I’m so glad we stayed at the Bluebonnet House. The home has everything you need and was very clean and comfortable.
Nice property, located really close to road and was quite loud. We realized there are 4 properties after we arrived. Will book again but will book a different unit away from the road.
Melissa was an excellent host, and very responsive. This is a beautiful cabin so close to everything in Hill Country...would definitely recommend to everyone, and we look forward to coming back! Thank you for the beautiful place to stay and the hospitality! Five stars!
Our stay was wonderful! Everything was exactly as described or photographed in the listing, and it was beautiful and filled with charm. We had such a great time. It was the perfect venue for our group of 7 girls for a Bachelorette weekend. The communication from Melissa was top notch. She sent an excellent packet full of helpful information about the house and the surrounding area. We highly recommend this house and host!
Its a beautiful home, we enjoyed it. A must do again. But I just didn't like there were no curtains or blinds in the kitchen area. It's beautiful during the day to look out but not so good at nighttime. But other than that no problems whatsoever.

Thank you so much for your sweet review!! It’s greatly appreciated and it was so nice having you!!
Thank you for the suggestion! I will definitely look into getting blinds/curtains put in immediately. Such a great idea!!
We hope you can make it back soon!
Thank you,
Melissa
This is a neat property and very comfortable and well maintained. Located 3-4 miles out of the town but convenient to everything. AC works well! It is situated right on a very busy highway so this particular place gets a lot of road noise but that was not intrusive inside. Kitchen and furnishings are all in good shape. There was a glitch somehow in the booking process where the host emailed about 6 weeks before arrival (we'd booked a good 6 months or more in advance) to say an extra $80 (which we weren't informed of in our original booking)was due because of some local tax that VRBO did not accomodate. While I don't know all the details, we had no real choice but to pay up because by that point other similar properties were already booked up, so that was not optimal. Overall though a pleasant stay
This house was absolutely awesome! It's such a warm and cozy place! 5 separate beds sleeping up to 7 people was just perfect for our group of 6. While the 2 twins and the full aren't necessarily in their own "rooms," they have plenty of privacy with the way they are located. The dining room table is perfect for games after dinner and the porches and outside areas are great for sipping coffee in the mornings.
All that is great...but the customer service and prompt communication goes above and beyond!! Will absolutely stay here again if we return to F'burg!
Bluebonnet is a wonderful home and great location to downtown Fredericksburg. Plenty of space for 3 couples. Property grounds are amazing. If home was a bit further off the Highway would be perfect. Would love to come back soon!
We spent our 11th anniversary here and sir was our first Fredericksburg trip ever. The property is amazing and unlike anything else you can find. Once in a lifetime cool! Close enough to everything while being separate from the crowds at night. Uber came without any issues. Loved this trip and so glad we found this property.
Myself and 5 co-workers stayed for 2 nights and we loved the place! Directions were easy to follow, as long as you are not going north. Loved the history and the old life you got to see! This house is super cute and would definitely recommend and stay again!
This is a charming cabin that is fully stocked with all the essentials. It was super clean, comfortable and there is plenty of room for 4 of us to spread out. Would recommend for sure.
Very well managed and maintained property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and of our all communications with Melissa were excellent. We enjoyed the solitude, wildlife, and close access to all the things to enjoy in the Fredericksburg area. The only relative downside was the close proximity of the house to Hwy 16.
This beautiful cottage is just far enough outside of town that you enjoyed the country experience but at 5 miles, close enough to go in for meals and activities. The furnishings and decor are perfect. We could not enjoy the fireplace outside due to the fire ban but loved sitting on the patio and watching the hummingbirds and listening to the songbirds. We saw seven deer at the feeder our last morning there. I have stayed in multiple VRBO rentals and this is one of the top experiences. We will be back. There are other cabins on the 7 acre property for larger groups which would make it perfect for a bridal party or family reunion. Melissa is the perfect host and answered questions within minutes.
Me (the bride) and all my bridesmaids stayed here this past weekend, we had the absolute best time the house was so nice and accommodating. Friday night we went out to eat then out dancing and Saturday night we stayed in which was so nice just laying under the stars in the hot tub . They are very nice people and very responsive I can't wait to come back.
