A newly remodeled comfortable one bedroom apartment in a great location. This is the downstairs unit of a duplex apartment. Fully furnished and remodeled with a fully equipped kitchen, full size refrigerator-freezer. Microwave, toaster, coffee maker, 6 qt. Instant Pot, spices, starter coffee and tea. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Washer and dryer included with starter soap. Large comfortable living room with leather couches. Relaxing, with a new 43inch smart TV and BluRay DVD player and assorted DVDs. Spacious master bedroom with queen and walk in closet sleeps 2. Queen sofa-bed in the living room also sleeps 2. There is a cot in the bedroom closet partially assembled that can accommodatea 4th person if they do o want to share the second queen sofa bed. You can use this cot, and will need to affix one of the end braces. There is a 3 inch pipe to leverage the bar onto the cot frame. Be careful with your fingers! The cot won't fit in the closet if it is fully assembled.
I want to emphazise that the the Northern Lights are predicted to peak in 2025. 2021 was an exceptional year and so far 2022 has had some incredible Auroras. Generally, the peak season begins August 20-April 15. Realize that the earlier and later in the season, the darkness is less, so you generally have less of a window to view the lights. It is warmer, but your viewing period is shorter. I was just above the arctic circle for a week (Sept 2-11) and had 2 phenomenal evenings of lights viewing 4 hours and 2 hours. If you want to have a good opportunity to view the lights, check out the UAF Geophysical Aurora Forecast which can help predict peak times to have success. That being said, I have had excellent viewing with a 2 kp level. This year there have been a number of days with a 6 kp level which is extraordinary.. If you are interested in viewing or photographing the lights, let me know what you are interested in and I will do my best to help. https://www.gi.alaska.edu/monitors/aurora-forecast

About the host
Hosted by Brian Yamamoto
Alaskan resident since 1981. Actively practicing general dentistry. Avid fisherman, hunter, boater, and familiar with many outdoor activities. Recently, began taking photos of the Northern Lights and am willing to share the knowledge I have acquired with interested photographers. I have many contacts in Fairbanks and Alaska and can give advice on particular adventures that you are interested in.
Special Note: The Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) are predicted to peak in 2025. They were excellent last year and this year even better so far! Don't miss this unique opportunity to view and or photograph this amazing phenomenom. Also, the Alaskan Yukon Quest will begin in Fairbanks on February 4th in downtown Fairbanks at 11 am.
