Great place to stay! We were only there for the weekend of graduation but it was clean and comfortable. The location was great- about 30 minutes from Appalachian State university and there were several easy options for meals and catering nearby. The game room was a huge bonus- we had so much fun and lots of quality time together.

We loved everything about Villa Costalotta. The vrbo was accurately pictured and amenities were on point. i could see us staying there again if we are ever in the area. Family of 10 was very comfortable.

The house was spacious and clean inside. Some wear & tear throughout and needs some care in areas but doesn't impact usability. Unfortunately, the AC was not working on the upper floor for our entire stay which was a real negative. Location is secluded and convenient for groceries, restaurants, & other activities although there is some road noise. Decks are large and were a nice gathering place for our group.

Great place for families.

Stayed for a week with family and friends. House was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for multiple families, with space for people who needed to work remotely to get away from the kids. Property manager was responsive and answered questions quickly.

This house looked so good in the photos - and was even better in real life! It was absolutely perfect for our crew of 8, with plenty more room if we had more friends. One of the cleanest rental property hot tubs I've been in.The kitchen was chock full of tools, utensils, etc. The game room was well loved, certainly, but everything worked and provided great entertainment. The huge table was a coffee shop and work space in the morning, a family dinner table in the evening, and a poker game at night. The whole house was big enough for everyone to have their peace, but with plenty of cozy social spaces throughout. I would be shocked if we didn't end up staying here again.

Perfect in every way

This house was a perfect home base for our family of eight while we were in town for my daughter’s wedding at Appalachian View. Close to venue and grocery, and had perfect space inside and outside on the decks to relax. The game room was much enjoyed as well. It exceeded our every expectation, and we hope to come back!!!

Nice!

We really enjoyed staying in the high country. Very relaxing, great central location to skiing, hiking and other small towns to shop/eat. Kids stayed busy in the evenings with everything in the game room. I’m pretty sure our dog didn’t want to leave either haha. Would definitely recommend.

Family Fun

Beautiful house! So much room for everyone to spread out and enjoy our stay. Just a few things need attention by owner. The downstairs couch legs are broken and the downstairs bedroom door does not lock.

Marriage Retreat weekend

We made this location the place to host our weekend marriage retreat with 3 other couples. The location is scenic. There is a lot to do nearby and there is plenty of space for everyone to spread out or congregate around the dining room table and enjoy time together. Overall, we would recommend this to others pursuing similar objectives.

Fun Family Get-Together

We loved our stay and the indoor and outdoor features were great for a family get together for the eight of us. There were a few items that need fixed for future guests: the drain in the main bedroom suite and the second floor hall bathroom were clogged; the shower knob in the second floor king suite was broken; the shower curtain rod in the lower level bathroom was broken; the gutters on the back deck were clogged so ran over during a rain storm.

Great location!

We loved every minute of our family vacation! Each family had their own “floor” which helped anchor everyone. The amenities were wonderful and the game room was a big hit! My only feedback is that the kitchen lacked some basic equipment that would have made dinners easier. Our family loves to gather around food and with dietary restrictions and picky eaters, we prefer to cook at home. We made it work, but for a home of this caliber, it was disappointing.
