Charming Carriage house located on the top floor of the garage. With arched stone entrances and an old time feel. Enter the studio suite that is decorated with a western theme to take you back to simpler times and bring out the old west history! Enjoy the luxury of Pendleton bedding and towels, spa soaps and lotions in a historic atmosphere. This suite sleeps 3 there is one queen bed and a comfortable couch. Great for a family with kids! Very cozy space with a spacious kitchen and living room.

We used the Carriage house and had a small bridal shower in the Courtyard. It was so convenient to have amenities of the rental, as well as the gorgeous landscaping. It was the perfect location to host such a special occasion. The host was responsive, and accommodating! Thank you!

What a beautiful spot to spend time with family. We shared these beautiful homes, made food, sang songs, enjoyed each others company. Best way we have found to be together during a snow storm. Accommodations were delightful.

Came into town to visit family. We found the studio to be very clean, and very comfortable. The decor was super adorable, and very well down. Communication with home owner was easy and very pleasant. When we come back for a visit we will definitely book again.

Work Trip for two months

This property has everything you need whether it is a short stay or an extended one. Working with the owner was so simple and she is very prompt in getting back with you. If you are looking for a nice clean, great location and to have peace of mind in your own space, here is where you want to stay. All the old western antiques are fun to look at and think of days gone by.

A NC traveler's dream come true.

Accommodation was immaculately clean. Attention to detail made for a relaxing stay. The decor sparked the imagination. Bed provided a restful sleep and temperature control ability made for a comfortable environment while indoors. Convenient, safe location; close to historic main street cafes, shops, and great restaurants with local flare. I enjoyed daily walks to historic downtown and around the neighborhoods. Thoroughly enjoyed visiting Frontier Auto, and Rockpile museums. Even got permission to make some apple pie tartlets from the fallen apples from the tree on property! Host was most accommodating. Impeccably clean. Gorgeous antique furnishings. We enjoyed the spacious living and full kitchen for a small baby shower in the daytime and my spouse and I stayed the night afterwards. Quiet neighborhood and a peaceful courtyard.

We are Gillette natives; we own Frontier Auto Museum and love preserving history. We have started our vacation rentals based on that love for preserving the past. These properties all have a special story and place in the community, and we wanted to keep it alive. The houses are decorated period correct and all have fun and unique features. We are located in the original downtown Gillette filled with lots of character and only a couple blocks away from our historic downtown. You will find locally owned shops, restaurants and attractions all within walking distance.

What makes this property unique

We want our properties to be a retreat experience. We have put a lot of thought into decorating the houses with period correct furniture. Also adding high quality Pendleton spa bedding and towels. We continue to make the properties better every year.
