Sweet relaxation

This place was what we wanted and needed, a small, quite, relaxing place with a great view. A full size couch would have been nice but we spent most of our time on the patio and in the hot tub. It was an excellent trip

Awesome!

The stay was amazing. Check in process was very easy. The cabin location was good and it was very clean. There was only one downside when we got there we used the hot tub for about 30 minutes then went to get a bath and only got the tub 1/2 of the way full and the hot water stopped working but everything else was amazing!

Nice accomodations

Stay was great, exactly what we were looking for. To day something the could just improve the kitchen range, it was kind of hard to cook, barely heated except at full power. Other than that everything was great

Pretty awesome

Cleanliness and overall stay was an easy A. As far as comfort, it was a bit muggy in the cabin. I’m sure this is to be expected in most cases, but the air felt damp even after 24 hours with ac on. Overall I love it!! It was still cool inside, just damp.

Rustic Seclusion

We loved our stay in this little log cabin, it has a rustic feeling with modern amenities. Perfect for two people & has a great view of the woods. We liked how quiet it was & that there wasn’t even road noise.

Really enjoyed the privacy of this location. It snowed the night and morning we were there which made it even more beautiful of a stay. Highly recommended.

The photos on BRBO do not match the cabin!!The cabin was dirty when we arrived. The couch cushions on floor, bed sheets on chair next to bed. The couch was filthy, grease stains on cushions and dirt on debris on couch where cushions go. Mattress had a dark mystery stain. The shower had not been cleaned soap scum on door. And the shower leaks so everytime we took a shower the floor was very wet. The windows in the cabin were grimy. I took a paper towel and wiped a small patch and it was dark residue that came off. There were some positives, the management sent someone to make bad and our couch cover on. The cabin was in a nice area.

Vacation 2023

Unfortunately, our stay was cut short as I contracted staph aureus food poisoning from breakfast at Bob Evans. Spent 2 days in ICU, on a vent. Hopefully, we can return at a later date, just not eating at Bob Evans

$70./ night Cabin at best. Not $160..

The cabin needed a lot of small easy to do things finished. Light over kitchen sink and table, the stove burners didn’t heat up, Bathroom shower door didn’t close tight, (water all over floor). No shelve or hooks in bathroom. No dresser in bedroom, (lived out of suite case). Needs a light on parking side of cabin. Outside bench broke (thanks for the cut on hand).rusted into..

Secluded cabin for two

The cabin was a perfect place to get away with my husband. We enjoyed how private it was, and how clean it was. We regretted that the fire pit was so close to the ground with pine needles all around. We thought it was a fire hazard, so we didn’t bother with the fire. But the Jacuzzi was a treat, along with a view of the woods. The cabinet is really out in the boonies and away from anything. But the Jacuzzi was a treat, along with a view of the woods. The cabinet is really out in the boonies and away from anything. The shower needs sealed so that it doesn’t leak all over the place. What is the curtain rods tends to fall from its hanger when you’re adjusting the curtains. We really enjoyed it. We would visit again.

Cabin mix up

Upon arriving to the assigned cabin we had originally signed up for, When we got to the property someone else had already taken claim to the spot and already settled in. Which on their end they misread which cabin specifically it was. We arrived sorted out the issue with the tenants in our cabin and they gave us theirs which actually they were supposed to get. Which ended up being an upgrade. We contacted the owners. And explain the situation and they happily agreed as long as we were both in agreement to swap cabins because of the misunderstanding they worked with us.

The photos in the listing ARE NOT the cabin you arrive to. This was disappointing. I had seen it in thee reviews but seeing as it had been a while since that was stated in reviews I assumed it was remedied. The cabin shown is the firefly cabin. I definitely felt frustrated about the incorrect listing however the property itself was wonderful. We said we would come back to a different cabin. We did have an issue with the decking that we did not get a reply to but we were still able to use the hot tub and other amenities.there was a lot of flies in the cabin so a fly strip would be another great addition. The other thing is bring your own coffee, there was a coffee pot but not any coffee to go with it. Overall very relaxing weekend just a few tweaks to make it perfect.

The cabin we stayed in was not the same cabin that was shown in the pictures online. We contacted the property manager and it was a technical issue with VRBO having the incorrect pictures for all their listings? Not sure how that happens but the house we booked per the pictures online was a newer, nicer cabin compared to the one we actually stayed in. We were told we would be getting a refund of the difference between the cabins but that did not happen. The cabin was a bit dirty, just hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned such as hair and debris still in the shower. Also, the TV was not logged into an account so we couldn’t watch anything and had no response when asking for the log in info. Overall we still had a decent stay, still an okay place to lay your head down at night and the hot tub was relaxing.

Review of Eagles Nest Gross Experience

We recently stayed at this cabin and unfortunately, it was not the relaxing getaway we had hoped for. On the positive side, the porch was lovely and provided a nice spot to enjoy the outdoors, but unfortunately, that was about the only highlight of our stay.Pros:Great porch: It was spacious and perfect for relaxing with a coffee or enjoying the surroundings.Cons:Unpleasant smell: There was a strong, musty odor throughout the cabin, which made it hard to feel comfortable.Poor lighting: The cabin had very little lighting, making it feel dark and uninviting inside.Hot tub: The hot tub had visible dirt on the bottom, and there was a strange film floating on the surface of the water – not at all what we expected.Bath tub issue: If you filled the bathtub above the jets, dirt started coming out of the jets, which was really off-putting.Shower issues: The shower head was barely attached to the wall, making it difficult to use properly.Excessive spider problem: While we know the cabin is in the woods, the number of wolf spiders inside was excessive. We even found two wolf spiders in our luggage, which was alarming. We had to leave a day early because it was that bad.No communication from the owner: I attempted to reach out to the owner to address some of these concerns, but I received no response whatsoever. It would have been nice to receive a refund or some compensation for the day we left early due to the issues we encountered.
