Located on the 2nd floor of a small group of condominiums that feels like a private resort, this well maintained and equipped 2 bedroom 2 bath condo that has everything you need for a STRESS FREE beach vacation. Included ARE: DAILY maid service, FULL Air Conditioning, PRIVATE (not shared) WIFI for your laptop and other devices, FULL use of a SMART TV, UNLIMITED Purified water, and linens (INCLUDING beach towels) are all included.

Inside the condo, each room has it's own views: the beach, Half Moon Bay, the jungle, our gardens and to the north up the coast. With 3 porches, it's all a feast for the eyes. Relax, read and rejuvenate listening to the waves; or stay connected to the outside world with our private high speed wireless internet. With the large open design of the condo, there is plenty of room for 4 or 5 people and there is NO shoe box feel!

Use the well appointed kitchen to make your favorite dish, or walk down the beach to a great restaurant.

Step straight off our beach into Half Moon Bay with it's beautiful perfect blue water and shallow reef, or walk just around the corner to Yal-Ku, the preferred cenote of the Mayan kings

Enjoy the PRIVACY of our complex, knowing that you don't have to fight for beach chairs or space.

And when you are ready to venture out, there are so many things to do! Or course anything to do with water and nature, but also culture, history, wonderful restaurants.

We know the Mayan Rivieira, as we spend 3 months a year here. We'll provide you with a welcome guide, and if it's not covered in this, just ask us ! We love to introduce people to the area, and want to help plan your trip.

As travelers ourselves we have adapted our policies to be much more supportive than the standard, including more flexible payment and cancellation options. We have also implemented the most modern current cleaning protocols. And our staff are dedicated only to us, they don't move around to other complexes... Less exposure. And our complex is twice the size as others, with the same number of units. SO distancing is natural. Check out our website for details!

Everything is provided for a stress free vacation: Free parking, Wifi, daily maid service (except on Sunday), unlimited bottled water delivered to the unit, full air conditioning, satellite TV, all linens, including beach towels, and so much more!

A great spot to explore what the area has to offer including easy trips to cenotes, ruins, snorkeling & more. The beach area always had lounge chairs available & while beach entry was a little rocky, at this end of the bay there was no sargassum.

Tranquility only starts to describe the feel of this place. Everything was exactly as depicted in the pictures if not better. Akumal is very quiet and easy to get to. The local people are a great mix of local folks and ex-pats. We will 100% be back to this listing.

Lovely, comfortable, well equipped property with stunning views of half moon bay. The gardens and swimming pool are perfect for relaxing and there were always sunbeds available on the complex beach. Diana, the owner was friendly and helpful and the site manager was always available for help with any problems.

Beautiful, quiet beach and grounds that are impeccably maintained by friendly staff. It was the only beach in the area that was free of sargassum. The condo itself ( #8) was comfortable and clean, and we felt so spoiled by Rosa, who kept it clean each day while we played and relaxed! Perfect location to visit the best cenotes, ruins, and adventure/nature parks without much drive time. If you are going to stay in Akumal, this is the place!

Tranquility was the perfect condo for our family of three. There was plenty of room to spread out, the kitchen served us well for a well with everything we needed to prepare simple meals. Exactly as described.

A peaceful Paradise

My husband and I and our two kids age 2.5 & 5.5 had such a great experience here. It was beautiful, well taken care of, the staff, owner and other renters were so kind and welcoming to us. The weather was awesome the whole time we were there. The snorkeling was incredible and the surrounding areas were full of welcoming, kind locals and a really great vibe in general. We'll be back!

Lovely condo with stunning view of the Half Moon Bay. Snorkelers will enjoy the opportunity to snorkel in Half Moon Bay in the front yard or walk 5 minutes to Yalku Lagoon if the waves in the bay are high. This is an ideal place to rent a bike to ride into town and enjoy a variety of restaurants or to snorkel with turtles. We also like to drive to Tulum beach (35 minutes) or the turtle preserve (10 minutes).

We booked the day before we were to arrive! Diane was great! She made the whole process so simple. The condo was just as it looked in the pictures and was very clean with wonderful staff. Beautiful snorkeling right out the door! This was a great experience for our family!

Serene stay

Spent 10 days here first of May. Comfortable unit, nice condo complex. Quite peaceful, nice lanai and great swimming pool. During our stay it was quite breezy and we found the water difficult for swimming - lots of coral/rocks and roughness of water. You won't find a walking beach here. If you wish to just sit by the water and look at it, then you will find it perfectly satisfying. The nearby Cenote, Yal Ku, was quite nice for snorkeling, beautiful fish. It's a bit of distance to other activities, though bike rental made that a little easier. Easy to take the colectivo from the highway, south to Tulum, or north to Playa. I would have called it 4.5 stars, but that wasn't an option.

The location, condo and privacy are excellent. Diana was super helpful and sends tons of detail to review before you get there. She was available for a call prior as well and answered all of our questions. The staff there are all fantastic. Franchesca is amazing and her 2 staff were super friendly and willing to help you. The space itself is beautifully decorated, spotless, and stocked with everything you need for a perfect stay. Amazing Snorkeling off of the Coral Deck

This is a nice unit with a great view of the Half Moon Bay. My only complaint would be that the property had been inspected way prior to our arrival so that the living area A/C would have been working. Extensive repairs made it not so convenient to have done during our stay. We lived with it, and slept in A/C bedrooms. I'm sure it is all fine and dandy now. Staff was great, pool looked great (we spent our time in the bay swimming), great location for excursions and local shops/restaurants. Akumal Dive Center at Akumal Bay was wonderful to dive with. The water was stunning! We can't wait to go back to Akumal.

Relaxing and friendly

Our stay here was very enjoyable and we loved our condo and it's grounds and pool. There is no beach here to walk on which was disappointing, and there were only limited services in walking distance - no actual grocery store for instance, only a couple of 7-11 type shops. To get to better restaurants was a considerable walk or bike ride - and the selection there was limited and food only so, so. We rented a car (VERY expensive!) for a couple of days to explore a bit and buy food at a proper grocery store. Snorkeling was good in front of the condo although you had to walk out through very shallow water over rock and reef quite a distance to get there. The reef is not in great shape but there were enough fish to make it interesting. Also, there is a nice senote in walking distance.

Laid back life

Our family had the wonderful fortune to stay at Tranquility for a week in late March 2025. The residence is on the second floor and affords a gorgeous view of Half Moon Bay. There is always a lovely, cooling breeze from the ocean, best enjoyed from the sheltered patio or beneath a palapa down on the beach. The condo is clean and kept fresh daily by the housekeeper, Rita. The staff and other residents are very friendly. Franscesca, the manager, welcomes with a smile, and Santiago, one of the grounds crew was especially nice, bringing a water jug to the room and even preparing coconuts to drink (delicioso!).Akumal is peaceful and very laid back. Compared with the traffic and crowds of Cancun and Tulum, it was always a welcome relief to get back to Tranquility and Akumal. In Akumal Playa and along the road to Tranquility, there are several good restaurants and bars. Our favorites were Turtle Bay Cafe and Buena Vida which is on the water and boasts terrific views and gentle breezes off the bay.Nearby are several unique attractions that we all enjoyed, including Yal Ku lagoon (great snorkeling), Akumal Monkey Sanctuary, and lots of cenotes to swim in! The cenotes are other-worldly and experiences that were each unique and well-liked. But after a day of adventure, it was always comforting to return to the laid back and welcoming walls of Tranquility.

A wonderful two weeks in paradise - breath taking views of the ocean, snorkeling in our front yard, beautiful grounds and pool and friendly helpful staff.

La Sirena is a fabulous property situated in the perfect spot for those who love to swim and snorkel. The view to the ocean from our condo was magnificent and we enjoyed the soft breezes and sound of waves day and night! Our condo was roomy and comfortable and the staff on site were friendly and kept things pristine at all times. Francisca was of great help providing information, directions and suggestions regarding day trips and the local area. The pool and grounds are absolutely beautiful - the photos on the website don't lie! We enjoyed finishing each day with a swim before heading out to dinner at one of the local eateries. Thanks for a great vacation and we look forward to returning soon!

Beautiful Location

This is a wonderful property! Although it has AC, we never used it and enjoyed the beautiful onshore breeze that cooled the condo. The large front patio was great for the morning. By 11 it was in the sun for the rest of the day. However, there was a shady second patio that had a fabulous view of the resort. Note: The two bathrooms have tripping hazards at the doorway. They each have an approximately 1 1/2" lip than is higher than the floor in the hall and master. This is not safe for an elderly traveler. We both stubbed our toes numerous times. This is a design element that is original to the building.

Great stay in well maintained condo

We had great time staying at Diana’s place and enjoyed condo with it’s beautiful garden, bay front location and privacy it provides. The suit has everything you need for a long stay. We managed one week without a car, but you need a car if you don’t want to depend on taxi and explore the area. Diana was very accommodating and gave good suggestions with whatever questions we had.

Jesus and Patricia bought the condo to escape from their busy lives in Monterrey. They visited Akumal as children and fell in love with the tranquil vibe. When they were looking for their dream 2nd home, and they walked through the La Sirena gardens, they imagined bringing their family here. And then opening the door to their condo, they realized that we do have the best views in all of Akumal, and this is IT!

Why they chose this property

Our little complex, La Sirena is special in that we have double the space that other properties in HMB. This allows us to have a wonderful large pool, as well as gardens and no crowds on our beach. The set up of our building is such that it feels more like attached houses, not condos.

What makes this property unique

We love sitting anywhere in the condo and having a fabulous view and gardening on our grounds. We love to go snorkeling right out in our bay, seeing the baby fishes that have just hatched, and swimming with the turtles. And then in the evenings at dusk walking the beach watching the flocks of pelicans fly inland for the night, and then grilling out on our beach and watching the sun go down.
