The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Host will greet you at the house for entry, and to go over a few house details. We'll stay in touch before your arrival!
Checkout time is no later than 10am- the cleaning staff will arrive at that time to get the house cleaned and ready for the next guest.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
January-August bookings are accepted from Saturday-Saturday only, no mid-week bookings (7 night minimum stay). MAX GUESTS is 6 -STRICTLY ENFORCED!
Guest MUST Sign Rental Agreement/Waterfront Addendum, and provide PhotoID to host to finalize booking within 24hrs of reservation.

Heaven in Siesta Key

Mimi was a wonderful host, and responsive to our requests. The neighborhood is lovely and quiet, we enjoyed watching the wildlife in the canal , and kayaking. The pool was great!

Fun times in Siesta Key!

Convenient to everything! Short walk to the beach! We loved the pool. It was fun kayaking Palm Island. The house was clean & had everything we needed!

Perfection on Siesta Key

The photographs cannot do justice to this spacious home. We had a small family reunion here and spent our time in all the areas comfortably: joyous play in the pool, plentiful seating at the pool, shaded Adirondack chairs overlooking the canal, covered Florida room off the living room, and a spacious living room looking out to the canal. The kitchen has all the knives, utensils, appliances and dish wear we needed for cooking. We were so happy with the location. Walking to Siesta beach and a short drive to town. Loved the bicycles and the plentiful towels.

Great family getaway!

Mimi was a great host. She met us at the house to check in and showed us around the property. Mimi was very responsive during our stay to a couple of our requests. The location was perfect. We loved riding the bikes to the beach and into town. The kayaks were so nice to have and we used them every day. The house was spacious and had everything you could want. It was really nice to have the pool and hot tub. My favorite place to relax at the house was in the hammock with my book!

Excellent Stay in Siesta

Property is perfect for a family/friends getaway. We had an amazing time in the pool/hot tub and on the beach which is a quick walk away. We didn’t rent a car and didn’t need one as downtown is a quick walk and bikes are provided. The only rainy day we had all week was spent on the screened in porch, playing games in the garage and even volleyball in the pool. Mimi showed up at check-in and explained everything to us so there was no guessing when it came to what the house had to offer - which is everything! We really enjoyed this house and will definitely be back.

Fantastic home with all the toys

This home is amazing! Mimi has thought of every amenity you could need or want. Our family enjoyed the mornings at the beach(5 minutes) and spent the afternoon by the pool. The screened in porch was nice on rainy afternoons to play board games. The trolley stop at the top of the street was nice to hop on to head to the village. We made many memories at this home from kayaking to manatee sightings at the beach. We would recommend this home to all.

Perfect for Our Family!

Mimi’s house was absolutely perfect for our family beach vacation. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for the pool, beach, and preparing meals. It is conveniently located a short walk from Siesta Beach and a short walk to the Village. My daughter and I enjoyed quick morning bike rides for coffee and breakfast a couple of times, and the ice cream shops were a hit will all of the kids. Mimi was very responsive and took time to meet us at the house when we arrived to show us around. We felt welcomed from the moment we got there until we sadly had to leave to return home. I highly recommend staying here!

Excellent vacation spot!

My spouse and I stayed at Mimi's vacation rental the week of Memorial Day. The house is in an excellent spot, biking to the local restaurants, beach, and bars was great! We only ended up going to the beach 2 times because the house had everything we needed to relax. The neighborhood is very quiet and right around the corner from everything. Mimi is an excellent communicator and was very attentive to ours requests. The number 1 thing I can say is how accurate the listing is! From the pool, the canal in your backyard, the location, and the cleanliness of the home. One of the best vacation spots we've found yet! thanks again Mimi!

5 Stars aren't enough for this property!

Our stay at Mimi's Siesta Key retreat was wonderful! Mimi made the experience even better starting from her communication during booking, the simplicity of check-in and her availability for any assistance throughout our stay. The house is packed with all the vacation necessities and toys. We chose to eat in a lot during our stay because the property was so accommodating for people who like to cook. The kitchen was well-equipped and the grill was great. We loved sitting on the porch every morning with our coffee, listening to the birds and watching fish jump in the canal. Linens and bedding were hotel quality. My husband and I are bed-snobs and the master king was one of the most comfortable we've slept on. What can you say about a location that sits on 2 1/2 lots of canal frontage, has its own heated pool and jacuzzi and is down the street from the #1 beach in world? It's the trifecta of vacation destinations. We never ran out of options for rest or recreation! We'll be back! Carolyn and Vincent Orlando, FL

Perfect Getaway with a Stunning Pool and Amazing Amenities!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this property! The house was immaculate, well-furnished, and provided all the comforts of home. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the beautiful pool area. The pool was clean, well-maintained, and offered a refreshing escape from the summer heat. We spent most of our days lounging by the pool, enjoying the serene ambiance and lovely views. The amenities provided went above and beyond our expectations. The house came equipped with bicycles, which we used to explore the local area and coffee shops. Beach chairs and beach towels were provided, making our trips to the nearby beach hassle-free. We also made great use of the kayaks and fishing poles, enjoying several peaceful afternoons on the water. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, and the outdoor grill was a great addition for our evening barbecues. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep for everyone. Scam- beware

Mimi will make you sign “ side “ agreements that include energy consumption and pool addendums. She kept my security deposit even though we left the house in great condition . She claims we left green water in the jacuzzi, when it was like that in the first place. It should not be the renters responsibility to clean a jacuzzi. Ceiling fan in master bedroom did not work, making it very warm to sleep. Cannot set air conditioning below 72. The thermostat is locked.. Large cockroach in foyer. She said we had extra guests when we did not. It’s a shame she uses these tactics as the house is in a great location. I have rented many times through Homeaway, and also had a house for rent through HomeAway myself, and have always received 5 stars. Beware.

Backyard Oasis on a Serene Canal

We cannot say enough about our experience at this property. My wife and I stayed here with our two adult children and their significant others. The house was spacious and has a great "wow factor" when you open the front door and see the canal through the expansive glass doors in the back of the house. My daughter jokingly asked if we were rich when she started exploring the property. We took advantage of everything that the property had to offer which was extensive: we explored the canals in the kayaks, rode bikes daily, played ping pong, hopped in the hot tub, and really spent a lot of time in the pool. There were great pool floats and noodles to relax with but we also played pool volleyball with the beach ball and had a blast. We grilled a few days and the grill worked great and seemed to be new. There were numerous towels for both the pool/beach and bath. Aside from the numerous amenities, the house location was ideal for us. It was a short walk to the beach, a short bike ride to the village (or a 10-15 minute walk). We rented a car but in retrospect could have just "ubered" anywhere that we didn't feel like taking the bikes to or taken advantage of the village's "free rides (tips only)". The location is in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood. If you're lucky you may get to see a manatee or two in the canal which we did on our last day! However, what really sets the property apart is the owner's concern for a great vacation for you. Mimi went out of her way to make sure that we had an amazing time including running a package over to the house that we had shipped to her main home after hours. She was always available to answer our numerous questions and could not have been more accommodating. We would highly recommend this property and are already trying to figure out when we are going back.

Property was well maintained and extremely clean. Excellent location within walking distance of the beach and Village. My boys enjoyed fishing from the dock and caught several Mango Snappers, Channel Cats, and Snook! Beds were super comfy. I even eneded up asking the host for mattress information! It was a perfect stay!

This house was a primary reason we had such a great week of vacation. Check in and first day were easy after a quick tour from Mimi. The house was spotless and ready for our arrival. We usually try to drive for vacation so we have all our beach items, but while we flew this time it wasn't an issue, all the things you need are already there. The kitchen was fully set up and we made plenty of meals for all of us. The ammenities with the pool (which was bigger and deeper than the pics show which was nice), hot tub (almost brand new), covered lanai, dock to fish the canal, wifi (super fast and could easily stream movies), and kayaks were all super fun. But the garage is the best, it had everything we needed for a great day at the beach: chairs, umbrella, towels, floats, coolers, and a wagon and cart to make the five minute walk to the beach super easy. Good tip for the beach, use access 11 but then go right a minute or two and you will have all the space you want even on the busiest beach days. We also loved the bikes, they were easy to ride and can get you to the shops in only a few minutes for shopping, dinner, etc. We would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this property to anyone headed for Siesta Key!

Family Beach Trip

We had a great time in Siesta Key ( even though we had rainy weather for most of the week!) We went to the beach. We grilled out. We swam in the pool. My husband and I used the Kayaks. Mimi was a great host, and the house was just as pictured

Siesta Key Vacation

We have rented in Siesta Key many times, and this was by far our favorite vacation spot! The home is beautiful, very clean, and well appointed.My wife and I stayed here along with two of our grandsons. The home is an easy walk to the beach, just at the end of the street. We used the beach gear that is provided everyday ( beach chairs, umbrella, wagon, and toys). Downtown is walkable, about a mile, or we rode the new bikes that are provided. The patio area is big and has lots of seating and dining spaces. The pool was great and larger than we expected. The pool cover kept the water temperature very comfortable. The hot tub is very relaxing after swim.There are plenty of kayaks to use. We used them to explore the area. There are miles of kayaking you can do right from the dock in the back yard. Mimi is a fantastic host! She messaged us a couple days prior to our arrival to welcome us and check our ETA, and on our arrival day she met us at the house and gave us a tour of the house and property. Mimi checked in with us during our stay to see how our stay was going and gave us ideas for fun things to do with the kids. (Drum circle!) We really enjoyed meeting her and appreciated her kind welcome.

Heaven on earth

Our stay was fantastic! Mimi was a wonderful host to deal with. She was on site to greet us and showed us the specifics of the house, pool, hot tub. the pool and hot tub were used every day, very clean and the high light of our trip. Mimi supplied everything you could imagine for the beach. towels, chairs, umbrella and loads of beach toys if you have children. She had several bikes that were in great shape and our group of 6 that are all over 60 years of age used them often. The beach of course was beautiful and only a few blocks away. Within walking distance. We had a great time and will certainly be returning for another stay at this great vacation home. Thank You Mimi for sharing your home with us. I continuously make improvements to the house to keep it beautiful and fun. I've lived in Sarasota since 1981. I speak English, Spanish, Un Peu De Français.

Why they chose this property

The house is very comfortable and only a few minutes walk to Siesta beach- which was ranked #1 in the USA in 2015, 2014 and 2011. The house is also on the Grand Canal- so you have waterfront and can kayak, or canoe through the canals which lead to the Inter-Coastal Waterways. Or, you can rent a boat and tie up to the dock. A private pool and extensive deck, which faces the sun all day, will make your holiday even more special.

What makes this property unique

Walk to beach- only 1.5 blocks (5 minutes). On the water- 125' on the Grand Canal- 2 kayaks provided and 1 canoe, or you can rent an boat and tie up. The canal is also fun for fishing right from the dock! The Siesta Key Village is not far- only 20 minutes walk, so you can have dinner at the local restaurants and pubs ,and maybe a Happy-Hour, and then have a nice leisure walk back home- or ride the bikes provided!
