Bed bugs, cockroaches, dark, dirty and poor management
Dark, dirty, dusty, moldy, bed bugs, cockroaches and broken washer/dryer.
Fun fact… bed bugs like to live in wood… like wood headboards. Didn’t know that until this trip. Long story short, husband and toddler had an extreme allergic reaction to bed bug bites. Reported to the management call center and didn’t hear a reply for 4 hours. After pest control comes and confirms the infestation, they call and offer 20% back if we stay or 50% if we check out that day. Won’t offer us another place to stay because we are “contaminated”. Asked that they reimburse us for the pain and suffering, as well as the medicine I had to rush and buy (let alone a COVID test because we didn’t know why they had a raging fever), and cleaning supplies- management only offer $25 gift card. Medicine for both husband, child and cleaning supplies were over $50. They also couldn’t recommend another place for us to go. Where are you going to go last minute, with 2 dogs, toddler and husband who (mind you) are sick.
Found out after I spoke with them, that the washing machine doesn’t get hot and the dryer doesn’t work. Which is crucial for killing bed bugs.
Then found the cockroach climbing all over the counters.
Dishes were dirty. Dishwasher had food and hair in the trap.
Bathrooms had spider webs, bugs, stained tub, moldy shower curtains. Dust on all the woodwork.
And everything was DARK. So hard to see even in the day. Missing lightbulbs in the lamps also didn’t help.
Still waiting on our bed bug refund as I’m writing this and it’s been 10 business days.
They need to improve their cleaning and turn over to make sure things are clean.
Came home and had to leave our clothes out in the sun while I slowly washed everything, too afraid to bring bed bugs into my home.
Completely disappointed and disgusted in how we were treated. Stay away!
