The residence is built on a sloping rocky outcrop, and the apartment offers a breathtaking view of the sea, with the song of the cicadas in the background, amid lemon and bougainvillea trees.
There's a garage and access to the apartment is via a funicular/ or stairs and an elevator afterwards. (Recommended for people in good physical condition).

Wunderschöne Gegend, herrlicher Ausblick und kristallklares Meer

Die Wohnung liegt direkt am Hang und bietet wunderschöne Blicke über die ganze Bucht von Portofino. Mit einem Fernglas lassen sich viele Yachten begutachten. Über eine Seilbahn erreicht man den Pool und das Meer. Der Pool ist leider nur mit Badekappe zu betreten und wurde von uns nie genutzt. Am Meer stehen Schirmständer zur Verfügung, sodass man seinen mitgebrachten Sonnenschirm aufstellen kann. Es empfiehlt sich Strandstühle mitzunehmen um auf den Steinen sitzen zu können. Es gibt viele waagerechte Flächen zum sitzen. Das Meer ist sehr klar und perfekt zum schnorcheln. Viele Fische und Felsformationen sind zu bestaunen. Die Erreichbarkeit der Wohnung ist jedoch ziemlich abenteuerlich und gewöhnungsbedürftig. Sie liegt direkt im Hang und die Serpentinen Straße ist wirklich eng. Das Gepäck in die Wohnung zu bekommen war trotz Zahnstangenbahn und Lift im Haus sehr anstrengend und zeitintesiv. Außerdem sind alle umliegenden Attraktionen nur mit dem Auto erreichbar, denn an der schmalen Bergstraße ohne Bürgersteig ist es zu Fuß wohl ziemlich riskant und die Siedlung liegt auch ziemlich weit vom nächsten Zentrum entfernt. Die Nutzung des Autos emfand ich sehr umständlich, da die Garage schwierig zu erreichen ist. Wenn man es dann jedoch geschafft hat sind viele Wunderschöne Orte in der Umgebung. In Chiavari ist auch ein kostenloser Parkplatz am Hafen. Von dort kommt man gut in die Stadt oder auch zum Bahnhof. Die Zugverbindung nach 5-Terre oder auch Richtung Genua sind gut.
