Facing the Vosges ridges and the small ski resort of Grand Valtin, the spacious, warm gîte accommodates 12 people in a quiet, rural setting. Its story will be told to you by Claude, the owner of this house which was built at the end of the 18th century by his ancestors.
In September you can come and listen to the bellowing of the deer which does not hesitate to sometimes show itself just in front of the entrance or in the meadow in front of the house to taste the fallen apples.
Departure from the gîte for hikes: towards the Thatch of Sérichamp 30 minutes away or the Tour du Grand Valtin or Les Roches du Valtin.
No light pollution, you can observe the stars at your leisure.
The Auberge du Grand Valtin, 600 m from the gîte, in front of the ski slope, offers you savory or sweet flamenkueche, a delight! You can also order bread and pastries for your breakfasts. It is very close!
The rooms are particularly spacious, a rare thing and so comfortable for a restful sleep! The living room has two sofas that accommodate your entire group.
In front of the gîte and to the side, a large space allows you to sit outside in the summer around garden furniture, and to enjoy the snow in winter as there is no shortage of it with the 920 m altitude of the House. In the past, Yvonne, Claude's mother, went down to school on skis and only came back up in the evening on skis.
