On the edge of a forest in the beautiful valley of Munster, come and stay in our chalet; it’s modern and functional.
Classification: 4 ****. The kitchen is entirely equipped with appliances and opens onto the dining room, the bathroom has a large walk-in shower, and the bedrooms provide a good night sleep and it’s perfect to relax.

The peaceful and pleasant “gite” (chalet), surrounded by wooden fence, is located on a large plot. There is even a clear running stream which goes through the property.
Take advantage of the outdoors, the private terrace and the large garden. There’s also a swing for the children (and for the young at heart too!).
The city centre and all the shops are only 5 minutes away on foot.
Both chalets can accommodate up to 5 people each.
Discover the local delicacies of Munster (cheese, wines, pastry etc.) and the abundant regional attractions (the storks, the Christmas markets, the hiking trails, the ski slopes, the beautiful Alsatian villages (just like a fairy tale!) and the castles nestled in the mountains, etc.

Une maison de vacances parfaite en Alsace

Notre séjour dans le gîte près de Munster a été vraiment fantastique. La maison était complète et confortable, avec tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour des vacances reposantes. L'emplacement était idéal, tout près du charmant village de Munster, ce qui en faisait la base parfaite pour explorer la région. Nous avons profité de magnifiques randonnées dans la nature environnante et avons pleinement apprécié les itinéraires culinaires locaux. La Route des Vins et la Route du Fromage offraient de superbes excursions d'une journée et des expériences gastronomiques savoureuses. De plus, les sorties vers les villes pittoresques de Colmar et Eguisheim valaient absolument le détour, avec leur belle architecture et leur riche histoire. Notre séjour a été merveilleux et le gîte nous a vraiment donné l'impression d'être chez nous. Nous n'hésiterions pas à revenir ici pour des vacances reposantes dans la magnifique région de l'Alsace.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus im Elsass

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in dem gut ausgestatteten Ferienhaus. Die freundlichen Hausbesitzer haben uns mit einem leckeren Kugelhupf und einer Flasche Wein empfangen. Auch das Laden meines Elektroautos war problemlos möglich. Danke nochmals hierfür. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Ideale Unterkunft für Familien

Wir hatten beide Chalets mit 2 Familien gebucht, was ideal war, da man gut Zeit zusammen verbringen konnte (die beiden Häuser sind durch eine Tür verbunden) und trotzdem die Möglichkeit hatte sich zurückzuziehen wenn man wollte. Die Häuser waren sehr sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Während der Regentage die uns während des Aufenthalts erwischt hatten konnte man es in der schönen Unterkunft sehr gut aushalten :-) Die Kommunikation mit den Vermietern war auch reibungslos und sehr nett. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Très bon gite

Très bon gite comme neuf et bien équipé. Emplacement idéal au calme mais à quelques centaines de mètres du centre de Munster à la limite des Vosges et de l'Alsace. Nombreux sentiers de randonnées à quelques pas du gite. Le four à flammekueche est un plus.

Sehr schönes Haus in bester Lage

Das Haus entspricht der Beschreibung. Die Ausstattung ist bestens, nichts fehlt. Catherine und Christian sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend gewesen. Munster ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um entweder entlang der Weinstraße nach Colmar oder zu wandern in die Berge zu fahren. An verregneten Tagen gibt es auch ein Schwimmbad im Ort (wir waren im Oktober dort, im Sommer ist auch ein Freibad Bereich vorhanden. Hier empfehle ich allerdings den Baggersee in Colmar). Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schönes Ferienhaus in Munster

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und erholsamen Urlaub im Chalet Cigogne. Catharine und Christian haben uns herzlich empfangen und viele Tipps gegeben. Das Ferienhaus ist zentral gelegen für viele Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir können das Ferienhaus nur weiterempfehlen.

Amazing place in Munster

We had a great time in Munster! The hosts were very kind and accommodating and left us with all the information we needed. We really recommend the hike at Lac du Forlet. The view was breathtaking! We would love to come back here one day.

Zeer prettig verblijf!

Wij hebben een heel prettig verblijf gehad. Heel gastvrij ontvangen. Zeer netjes en schoon verblijf en erg ruime slaapkamers. Ook de pizzaoven en BBQ hebben we met plezier gebruikt. En heerlijk om lopend naar de bakker te kunnen voor verse croisants en stokbrood voor ontbijt. Leuk om ooievaars over te zien vliegen en erachter te komen dat het hele dorp er vol mee zit. En achter het huis loopt gelijk een wandelpad naar boven en dan heb je prachtig uitzicht over de vallei. Ook het zwembad in het dorp was fantastisch, met binnen en buiten(golf) slagbad en mooie wildwaterbaan en aantal glijbanen. Super voor jong en oud! We savonds en snachts is het er heel stil om heerlijk 't kunnen slapen. Wij hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad met twee jonge kinderen. Dank jullie wel Christian en Catherine

Un séjour merveilleux

Une des plus agréable location que nous ayons eue! Un chalet très bien conçu où on se sent très rapidement comme à la maison. La literie est excellente, les équipements et la propreté sont irréprochables. Des propriétaires très chaleureux qui ont à coeur de recevoir au mieux les vacanciers (multiples petites attentions très très appréciables : cadeaux d'accueil, lits faits à l'arrivée, un recueil sur les activités locales très bien pensé. ..) Une location à recommander où nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wir (Familie mit zwei Kindern 4&6) haben eine Woche bei Christian und Catherine gewohnt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es ist alles da, was man braucht. Die Einrichtung ist modern und gemütlich, das Haus ist noch fast ein Neubau. Im Obergeschoss sind zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer, im EG ein offener Koch- und Wohnbereich, sowie WC und Bad. Die Terrasse, der Grill, der Flammkuchenofen und das große Grundstück runden das Haus ab. Die Lage in Munster ist am Ortsrand, das Zentrum ist fußläufig erreichbar. Im Umkreis von 45 Autominuten gibt es viel zu sehen und zu erleben. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und sprechen gut deutsch. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt. Für die Kinder gibt es Spielzeug und Schaukeln. Bei Bedarf sind auch Treppengitter und Kleinkindausstattung vorhanden. Vom Haus aus kann man direkt loswandern. Alle haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Traumhafte Urlaubswoche

Wir (Familie mit 2 Kindern) haben eine traumhafte Urlaubswoche im Chalet La Cigogne verbracht. Die Unterkunft war wunderbar und bestens ausgestattet und wir wurden herzlich von Christian und Catherine empfangen. Vor allem die Kinder haben das große Grundstück genossen. Trotz sprachlicher Probleme wurden Freundschaften zu den französichen Nachbarskindern geschlossen. Die Natur ist ein Traum. Gut ausgeschilderte Wanderwege, die auch mit Kindern gut zu schaffen sind, lassen einen die Landschaft in vollen Zügen genießen. Kurzum, es war eine wunderbare, erholsame Woche, die unsere Lust Frankreich noch mehr zu entdecken geweckt hat!! Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön an Christian und Catherine!

Prima Ferienhäusle in toller Lage

Wir waren Anfang März im chalet cigogne, zu zweit hatten wir üppig Platz. Sehr gute Austattung, dies gilt auch für die Küche. Alles entspricht 100 % der Beschreibung. Trotz sehr nasskalten Wetters hatten wir es immer warm und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Cathérine und Christian haben uns herzlich empfangen und sind sehr aufmerksame Gastgeber. Am besten gefallen hat uns die Lage: Zu Fuss in wenigen Minuten im Zentrum von Munster, mit dem Auto in kurzer Zeit in alle Richtungen. Man kann da unheimlich viel unternehmen.
