This was my first-time with VRBO and I was pleasantly surprised. The property was as advertised and Jennifer was very quick to respond to my questions. The house was clean and the furnishings were very comfortable. The landscaping was well maintained, the fishing was great, and the lake (which she isn't responsible for) was clean and clear which invited worry free swimming. I will not hesitate to plan another vacation at this site.
Came to do some cat fishing. Great place to stay. Great restaurants close by recommend Uncle Gus’s BBQ great food. The house was great everything we needed. Hope to go back next year

Nice stay
The location to the lake was excellent. The dock was very dirty, old and nowhere to sit. The home wasn't cleaned very well and there was dog hair everywhere. Very limited cooking utensils and dinnerware. On a positive note, the AC was probably the best I've ever had. Enjoyed swimming off at the dock and boating around. I don't think the owners really prepare for guests but we did have a nice stay. It was very inexpensive so we can't really complain too much.
I was looking for a good place to stay, close to Spring City boat ramp, for a fishing tournament. This house was a short 12 minute drive to the ramp. House was just as described. Did not use the dock at all as I drove to the ramp every day. Communication with the owner was good and they were very responsive. The only issue I had was with silverware and we just picked up some plastic ware at the dollar store that was five minutes from the house.
Will definitely book again when I am looking to stay in that area again.

No air conditioning were working on the property. The house upstairs was over 100. We all had to sleep downstairs some of us on the floor for couches, which were small couldn’t take a shower upstairs because of the heat while the house has history is very old and outdated not a price I would know my book
We rented this house for a 3 day fishing tournament. It was only an 18 mile drive to the landing on Chickamauga. The house has a large garage with power to store your boat overnight. It even had a drop cord available for us to charge our boat. The only downside to the house is you have to take your trash with you or drop it off at a convenience store. There is no curbside service. Not a deal breaker just didn’t plan to take our trash back home with us. We will definitely rent this house again when we return to Chickamauga or Watts.

The inside of the property was clean but dated. Washing machine did not work for our whole stay addressed with host but was not fixed. The outside needs pressure washed bad, grass needed mowed and bushes trimmed. There were cobwebs everywhere. I live in the country so I’m used to insects and stuff but the cobwebs on the back porch and dock were awful. Back patio and dock were sketchy at best. Was scared for more than 1 at a time to be on them due to it might fall in. For the price I expected better. We had a good time but mainly because we were on the lake most of the time. Hate to give a mediocre review but these things need to be addressed or at least next renter needs to be aware of the issues.
We planned a fishing trip on Watts Bar. Having a dock so we didn’t have to trailer the boat each time was VERY helpful. AC worked excellent and frankly that’s one of the most important things when staying somewhere other than home!

The refrigerator had not been wiped out. There were bugs, etc. One drawer had "stuff" in it. Cupboard above stove had gooey gunk around door handles.Wet towels in the dryer.Had to mess and jiggle the washer to get it to work.Burned out light bulb in one bedroom.Cigarette butts on back porch.
