Breathtaking views from this 3 bedroom 2 bath condo directly on Panama City Beach. Thoughtfully designed and well furnished to make your stay comfortable, this condo can be your home away from home. With 3 bedrooms and plenty of space to spread out, this room comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Located at the Calypso Towers which is located on the west end of the beach adjacent to Panama City Beach Fishing Pier and the Pier Park shopping & entertainment center, with a 24 Cinema movie complex, small specialty shops such as Ron Jon Surf Shop, Borders Book Store and large department stores such as Target, JC Penny, Dillards, Old Navy and Wal-Mart. Pier Park’s entertainment and restaurants options include Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dave & Buster's, The Back Porch Seafood House, among many other shops and restaurants. It is only a few miles to outlet shopping in Destin and Seaside and scenic 30A.

Love the balcony and beach.

Kitchen adequtely stocked and appliances good. Elevators and parking was a hassle.Extra charges for early check in orout were offputting after tbe room cost.

family getaway

we had a great time staying in PCB at Calypso tower 2 we had a great view from the 19th floor of the ocean and sunset, very close to pier park was just what we needed.

Calypso is a great location

Condo is nice, but needed some updates and a deep cleaning. Need more pots and pans.They closed the pool every afternoon for lighting and we only saw lightning once, security it to uptight at the pool

Could have been better

Master bedroom bed was not comfortable at all. The kitchen had cheap cookware to cook with. We requested a third pass for parking, but never received or got a response. We've stayed at many different condos over the years at PCB and this one was the a good one.

LOCATION

We had such a great stay, we will definitely be staying at the calypso again. The location is so convenient, walking distance to pier park, and a short drive to Walmart. The elevators are fast, and the check in is so easy. The only thing I wish this unit had was a mop.

Dirty. I cannot recommend this property. It was not clean and not well maintained. Several lights had bulbs that needed replacing and the kitchen light had a constant, strobing flicker to the point it was unusable. The furniture is old, tired, worn and in desperate need of being replaced. The location and view were great, and the unit has potential if someone would put a little TLC into it. It was embarrassing when family came over from their units in the same complex and the topic of conversation was all the issues in this unit. Parking for 60 per car is outrageous and should be included in the price of the rental.

We had a great vacation. The room is just like the listing. We couldn’t get the cable to work in the living room but that’s not what we came for and didn’t watch tv. The only con would be the elevator, when everyone is checking in at 4 there is a line but it still wasn’t too bad. Would stay again without a doubt.

Happy with this choice

The room and view was amazing, however when we arrived the room had not been cleaned so we had to get in contact with renters and they got someone there very quickly and gave us late check out to make up for having to wait on the room to be cleaned. Overall zero complaints.

Clothes dryer did not work when we got there had to wait three days before they got dryer to work... ice maker was torn up.

Great location Great view

I stayed in this unit with my husband, sister and our 3 teenage girls. All the beds were comfortable and bathrooms were spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the large balcony watching the water and beach goers every evening. I had to wash the towels and washcloths everyday because there were no extras but the washing machine had a jumbo tub so everything could be washed at one time with no problem. (If you like to wash your face when you wake up, might want to bring a few extras with you.) I was worried that we would have long waits at the elevator because the property is so large but we never did. We were happy with this unit and would stay here again.

The property was easy to get too and parking was easy as well. The unit came with 2 parking passes so a 3rd vehicle parked at pier park with ease and a short walk. I thought the elevators were quick as well compared to other condos in the area. We walked to Diego’s which was excellent and Shuckeys. We also walked to another restaurant I can’t remember the name of but was close. the beach wasn’t crowded and rates for chair rental were $50 for 2 chairs and umbrella for 1 day and price went down for longer stays. It was affordable. Beach patrol was remarkable during our stay as there were dbl red flags and people didn’t pay attention. they tried their best o keep them out of the water for safety. I’d stay here again. We had a great time!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Calypso was a great location and great views. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Our condo (Tower 2 Room 1908) didn’t meet the same standards. It had NO pots or pans for cooking, the drains were stopped up with hair, the showers had black mold on the wall. Sadly that wasn’t all. The furniture was way out dated and had stains on them.

Spring break 2023

This is in a great location right across from Pier Park, restaurants and shopping. The unit is nice and clean but the owner does not have the ice maker hooked up so you will need to provide your own however you can purchase ice bags on the premise. We had to get maintenance come fix a few issues (missing patio door handle and couldn’t adjust the living room T.V. volume.) Also, both bathroom showers had low water pressure. My only real complaint is the master bed is not comfortable! It’s a hard spring pillow top. Very uncomfortable! Otherwise, we had all the amenities inside the unit and it was clean and nicely decorated.

Outdated and over stated

Wha we arrived we did get in a little early. Staff watching over rental was rude. Condo didn’t have enough kitchen supplies to keep up three people much less the occupancy of advertised 6. They did bring more kitchen utensils. But the stated maintenance problems were never addressed. We had a price of a broom to clean with and still no response from property management. We had ripped and stained carpet. Dirty coffee stains all over kitchen and in the drawers. We had lamps not working. TV’s in bother guest bedrooms not working. Property management did not care. I emailed them to tell them we left a day early and no answer

The room space was great. Furniture like the couch and chairs were stained and just not somewhere you want to sit. It’s hard to get out to the balcony in the master suite because of the huge armoire that just takes up room and blocks the door. Oven does not heat well so if you plan on cooking prepare for double the time. Bring towels, your own pillows and blankets and sheets. A shower liner would have been helpful in the master bath to not cause a mess and a moldy shower curtain. The place needs a lot of updating. Bring your fire stick unless you want to watch tv. Internet worked well.

The best stay

We always enjoy staying at Calypso Resort Towers. The condo is within walking distance to most restaurants and bars. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay here!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: On arriving, we were disappointed with our unit. The interior was clean, however, it was not in good condition. The drawers to most of the bedroom furniture were broken. You couldn’t even put clothes in them. The shower curtain was mildewed from top to bottom, and had turned pink. None of the televisions worked correctly. The sound wouldn’t turn up or down in the living room. The remotes didn’t work for the tv’s. The kitchen wasn’t stocked with many dishes. The ladder to the bunk beds in the 3rd bedroom was broken. It wasn’t safe for my children to climb without someone holding it. The outdoor balcony furniture was old, dilapidated, and one was completely broken. The balcony was dirty.I contacted Emerald Destination offices by email. They asked me to send pictures. After I sent the pictures, they would not respond back.The pool area was a joke. You had to have key cards to enter, which was fine, but they patrolled the pool area constantly and would not let the kids play with any kind of a ball in the pool. We had to keep drinks 5ft away. If too close, they would come and tell you to move. We paid way too much money to stay in a subpar resort. We will not be staying in this resort or renting from This company again. Not worth the money.The elevator took forever, was hot, and smelled horribly.

I gave this condo / stay 5 Stars, but........

I gave this condo / stay 5 Stars. It was a very nice condominium and facility. Beach, Pool, and Tiki Bar were great. Location is great (literally 5 minute walk to Pier Park and great restaurants like Shuckums). Layout was fantastic, beds and couches were comfortable, appliances worked well. Bottom line is we had a great time. Now for the issues. The unit was not clean when we entered. Clumps of sand in the bedroom and shower stall. Freezer had melted chocolate ice cream all over the drawer (not sure how that even happens). Plates / cutlery were not clean so we had to wash them before using. Master bedroom door was hanging off hinges (I fixed with a screwdriver). A number of other small issues. Took us much of the evening of check in to take care of the issues, but after that smooth sailing. The things I complain about above DID NOT impact our stay and the enjoyment we had. Just annoyances that can easily be taken care of. I would stay here again and would recommend this facility unit to others. I have confidence all of the issues I brought to the leasing agencies attention have been / will be addressed.

Stay on Beach May 2022

Overall this was a good location and the condo would have been excellent if it were not for some little things that should have been fixed. Here is a list of them: garbage disposal did not work at check in, bed coverlets were stale and smelled of previous occupants, no top sheet for the bunk bed, all TV remotes for the living room did not have the battery covers and so the batteries kept falling our when you changed channels, the master bed room door was off level and difficult to close and could not be locked, a piece of front door threshold was laying inside the door with its screws, one patio chair was broken at check in, not enough towels. All small things but should not have been on this level of condo. It was a disappointment and I would not recommend it without repair of the problems.

Stay was Okay.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The parking was a headache because you have to scan paper to get in and out. They set my parking pass to expire at midnight when check out was 9am that morning which made it hard to get out parking garage due to the expired pass.
