The location of the property is ideal: right on the pedestrianised street in the town centre, close to various bars, restaurants and shops; near the ski lifts (Brévent is a 10-minute walk away, but be warned: it’s quite a steep climb). The Aiguille du Midi cable car is a 5-minute walk away, taking you up into the high mountains where you can admire the spectacular view over the valley.
Chamonix railway station and the coach station are both a 5 to 10-minute walk away.
The neighbourhood is very popular with locals and tourists alike; please don’t hesitate to ask me for recommendations – I’d be delighted to share my favourite spots with you! For your daily shopping, there’s a “Super U and Drive” just a 5-minute walk away.
You will be provided with a travel card for free travel on the internal train services between Servoz and Vallorcine, and for reduced fares on the Chamonix Bus urban shuttle services (except the Chamo’nuit Bus).

## Emplacement Famous ski resort, Chamonix is famous for its location at the foot of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe. Capital of mountaineering, Chamonix is much more than a resort: 10 ski areas make up its valley, an authentic and lively city center and many activities are offered in winter as well as in summer (snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dog sledding, magnificent spa facing Mont Blanc, hiking to high altitude lakes, mountain biking...). Other tourist places are very popular: the Aiguille du Midi, the starting point for the mythical Vallée Blanche, invites you to a unique experience at an altitude of 3800m, or the Chemin de Fer du Montenvers, leading to the Mer de Glace. The latter is a valley of glaciers 7.5 km long. Spectacular landscapes are to be discovered all year long.
