With wood paneling worthy of a cabin in the woods, this charming home has plenty of space to spread out and relax! You'll enter into the full kitchen immediately when you come into this home, ideal for if you're in need of hot cocoa. The lovely open design features a kitchen island (complete with range), a double oven, a French door refrigerator, and plenty of equipment and pantry items. The great room is just beyond, where you can throw a few logs on the fire and settle in on the plush sectional sofa. Two bedrooms feature multiple beds, and each include a trundle bed to make sure there's enough room for every guest. But those bedrooms are on the top floor - the main floor's bedrooms have one bed each and provide plenty of privacy. The main bedroom's en suite bathroom features both a standalone shower and a luxurious soaking tub. Head downstairs and enjoy kicking back in the den (perfect for younger guests who want a chill space of their own). The laundry room includes a deep sink, perfect for handwashing ski gloves or soaking out a stain. This lakefront home is in a prime location, with a sandy beach on the east side of the property. You'll be able to enjoy beautiful views of the lake and surrounding woods all year long, preferably from the wide deck. Have fun cooking up dinner on the private gas grill. There's so much to enjoy at the Wicked Moose!

Incredible location
Absolutely breathtaking. The home was beautiful and very well equipped. The location was perfect. Having use of the canoes was a plus. The homeowners thought of everything that is needed for an enjoyable stay. The only downside was not getting a follow-up call in regards to a breaker tripping which meant we couldn't use the microwave for a few days. We could not access the breaker box. It by no means ruined out stay. We managed without the microwave. We would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat. We give The Wicked Moose Cabin 5 stars.

Beautiful new cabin on quiet cove
Our family had a wonderful stay at this home. Everything was just as described. We cooked all of our meals in the well equipped kitchen. The grocery store and town were just a quick 10 minutes away. We enjoyed the fire pit and the canoes. Sunsets from the dock were amazing. The only issue we encountered was that only 1 adult life jacket was provided (but 3 for dogs). Luckily we had brought a couple from home so we were able to make due. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house and property!
We enjoyed our trip to Moosehead Lake. The house was beautiful, just as described. The property is stunning with a gravel path to the dock and lake. Dock is brand new w chairs to sit on. Two canoes are available and you can rent kayaks, paddleboards, pontoon boats in town. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub. The game room in the basement was a blast for the kids. There’s a very nice fire pit outside and very comfortable Adirondack chairs on the deck. Dog friendly too! Extremely private. Couple of things to be aware of... I was approached by a moose while walking my dog on the dirt road, the town is extremely small with a small grocery store and very little else. There are only a couple of restaurants and getting anything to go wasn’t possible because they told me “they ran out of food”. The nearest pharmacy was an hour and a half away. So if you like to go out to eat this is probably not the place for you, definitely bring your own food.
