With amazing views of Moosehead Lake, this lakefront cottage sits in an ideal setting. With a large lawn, towering birch trees and open lake views, you will be inclined never to leave this Greenville property. Centrally located just one mile from downtown Greenville, the location of this vacation rental is perfect for summer and winter enjoyment: World-class snowmobiling and fishing, Squaw Ski Resort just 7 miles away and the Red Cross Beach is only 2 minutes away by foot.

Unique features of this property include a large living room with great views of the lake, a bedroom with queen size bunk beds for little kids and big kids alike, a master bedroom with en-suite and a large kitchen (with a gas range, toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker requiring k-cups) and dining room each with lake views. There is also a large deck with furniture and a BBQ grill available to renters.

We also offer a canoe and kayak for our renters to use.

Great place to stay on Moosehead

The home was spacious, clean and has everything you need. The waterfront is very nice and easy to go to from the house. Comfy and inviting, and SO close to all the fun places to go for dinner after boating all day. Super close to the landing to launch your boat too.

Fantastic family getaway

This is the perfect vacation spot for a fun relaxing family vacation. Our teens loved everything about this vacation. Kayaking, swimming, hiking, reading, and playing tons of family games. It’s was exact what we needed before school starts up. Amazing property owners and just an overall excellent trip!

The property and house were perfect! We enjoyed our stay here so much! Beds were comfy and everything was nice and clean. Location was great also. We walked into town for dinner and it was nice and close. We would love to stay here again!

Winter vacation

We had a wonderful time at our stay here. Our friend caught a 3 lb salmon ice fishing which we enjoyed that evening. The hosts were accommodating and allowed us to bring our dog last minute. Would stay here again!

Wonderful!

This was a perfect place for family. Plenty of room for everyone. Loved the large deck and outdoor furniture for eating and relaxing. Appreciated the firepit and wood to build a fire. Great dock for boat!

The property was clean, very lovely and had beautiful views. The property was right on the lake and I can only imagine how beautiful it is in summer. We went for a white Christmas and the owner was nice enough to put up a tree and decorations! We had a wonderful 2 weeks with a very white Christmas! Thank you so much for everything!

Perfect location and home on Moosehead Lake!

This is our 3rd stay at Ken and Lindsey’s property on Moosehead! and we are booked for next year! So I guess that tells you how great this home is on Moosehead Lake. It definitely has it all as the listing states and definitely a 4 season home to enjoy all that the Moosehead Lake area has to offer!!

Peaceful Location

The house has a lot of natural light and it’s close to town. There’s a canoe, a kayak and a fire pit. The area is quiet. Would recommend the home. For renters looking for a dog friendly home this place is

Beautiful location even in the Winter

The house is very functional, clean and perfect for our two families to celebrate the new year with ice fishing right out front. Our second stay did not disappoint.

This is our second time staying at this property and hope there will be a 3rd. It’s everything you want in a vacation at the lake. Excluding the weather, we have no complaints and had an amazing stay. Views are like no other and the daily visits by the local deer were a nice bonus. All the luxuries of home, convenient to town and great fishing spots. Thank you for your hospitality!

Wonderful stay!

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing. The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well appointed. Check in was easy and the hosts were very nice. We has no issues while we were there so we didn’t have to bother them. It was a very relaxing and fun visit. I wish we had stopped by the Moosehead Meat and Deli earlier in our stay because they had wonderful looking meats ready for grilling and sides etc. Also Jamos pizza had some of the best sandwiches ever. We took the moose Safari trip from The Birches which was worth it even not seeing a moose. We had dinner there after. It was lovely. I would love to come back sometime.

Another great stay at the lake

This was our 3rd stay at Ken and Lindsay’s and it didn’t disappoint. They take such great care of the house, each year with new updates (new floors look amazing!). We feel like it’s our home away from home and my husband calls it his “happy place.” It’s in the perfect location, peaceful and right on the lake with 5 minute access to Greenville if you need groceries or to visit the Stress-Free Moose. We also love walking down the road the house is on which goes along the lake, eventually leading to a small public park where you can take in different lake views. We have done a couple of hikes in the area, but our favorite thing is to simply make a fire in the backyard, sip wine, and enjoy the ducks and the view!

Awesome week away

To have a house right on the lake would be a dream to me. We were so happy to have been able to stay here for a week. Nice roomy back yard area. Nice doc. Great view of lake even sitting in the couch. We rented a pontoon boat for a couple days. When we first arrived it was hot in the house. But It did end up cooling down nicely each night. I miss read the description of the house. I thought AC was through out the house but it does say Just in the master bedroom. But again… it was very comfortable in the house after we got things opened up in the house. We will be back (I hope!)

Perfect spot to hang out and relax for the back half of our trip and to enjoy the Northwoods. The home has beautiful picture windows to watch the sea planes and enjoy the splendors of fall. Everything was clean and cozy!

Clean, great view of Moosehead Lake, top notch appliances. The only issue we had was the main bathroom door was very sticky and the door knob didn’t work the best. My wife had difficulty getting out of the bathroom a couple times. Overall it’s a great property and we were very comfortable and loved our time there!
