DESCRIPTION: This Moosehead Lake log home is a year round direct waterfront home with easy lake access. There are western panoramic views of the lake and mountains from inside, outside and lakeside plus a dock area for canoes, kayaks or swimming. This home features three comfortable bedrooms, i.e., one king size bed, one queen size bed, one full size bed, a full size futon sleeping loft, two full baths, living room, sunroom, a fully equipped kitchen and large garage. Linens and towels are provided. It is a secluded, quiet getaway vacation home that will exceed your expectations yet is still within walking distance of all of the amenities the quaint destination Town of Greenville has to offer.

Upon your determination that our property fits your vacation needs, we will send you a copy of the rental agreement. Once the paperwork is completed, signed and the appropriate deposit is received, we will confirm your reservation on our calendar. You can then look forward to enjoying all the Moosehead Lake Region has to offer. We look forward to booking your exciting vacation experience!

PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE ARE DIFFERENT NIGHTLY RATES FOR THE SUMMER AND WINTER. Travelers’ insurance is required. Please contact the owner for these rates and fees.

This was our second stay at this house, which is a strong endorsement itself.. The house is very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The property is very close to the town center. The lake view is outstanding. Any questions we had were addressed promptly.

My family had a wonderful stay at Camp Sundown! The host, Kim, was great with communication. The house was exactly as described in the listing and extremely clean. Beautiful views from inside the house and at the dock, close to town, comfortable beds and having a washer and dryer on the premises was a total plus! We would definitely love to come back in the future.

Property was well cared for, very clean and the view from the sun room and bedrooms was beautiful. The host (Kim) was excellent to work with, answered all questions and checked on us when we arrived to make sure everything was in order. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend. The only thing missing for us was a “moose sighting!”

If you want to unwind and relax Sundown is the place to go. The house is beautiful and very clean. Kim is a phenomenal host with excellent communication. She really wants you to have a good time. Either drinking your coffee on the dock or sitting in the sunroom the view is spectacular. The lake is so peaceful and the sunsets are heavenly. Take a ride on the Kathadin steam boat for more amazing views. The house has everything you need and more. We saw deer and loons and eagles. It was a vacation to remember.

Beautiful property right on the lakefront. It's walking distance to town but feels secluded. Everything was clean and in excellent working condition. Kim was a fantastic host. My wife and I rented this property with some friends and we had a wonderful and memorable stay at Sundown on Moosehead Lake! Kim is a very caring host, easy to communicate with, and quick to respond to any questions. The well-maintained property is just what a lake-front log home should be, a great location close to town, yet private and peaceful. Beautiful views from inside and around the house, and down at the waterside deck and dock. The panoramic sunset views were a highlight of the trip! The home is well appointed, the furnishings are high-quality and beds are quite comfortable. We hope to return to this excellent vacation rental and certainly recommend it to others!

Another year and another stay at our favorite cabin! We look forward to coming back every year, and Kim is truly the best host. The house is always spotless, the property is absolutely stunning, and the sound of the loons is the icing on top.This cabin is such a peaceful retreat. We love spending time in the sunroom working on puzzles, sharing the best dinners while overlooking the lake, and ending each day watching the most breathtaking sunsets. It's the kind of place where you can truly slow down, relax, and soak in the beauty of nature. The house is stocked with all the essentials, making it feel like home away from.We're already looking forward to our next visit. Perfect Vacation!

This home, these hosts, that lake, all exceeded our vacation expectations! The home was clean, well stocked, very comfortable, and accessible to all area attractions. The host was very kind and helpful, and responded very quickly to any questions we had. Fantastic!

The home is both beautiful and comfortable. The location is awesome; close to town, restaurants, boating, seaplanes, hiking. The view is spectacular. The host was very helpful with resolving some VRBO glitches during the booking process, and checked with us on arrival as well as departure. If we return to Moosehead Lake we will definitely book this home again!

Relaxation on Moosehead

Great week in a lovely home on the lake. Owners were responsive and helpful. Location was super - easy access to town center, boat and kayak rentals . Home is beautifully maintained and spacious.

Family trip

Sundown was the perfect spot for our family to get away before school starts up again. They house was perfect for our family of 5. We loved the sunroom and the view from the dock. It was close enough to town, but also private and peaceful. Kim was great about communicating. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!
