Great Place for A Bourbon Trail tour

We had 10 people and for 10 there was plenty of room. Property met with our expectations completely!! It advertises up to 29…not sure how comfortable it would be for a group larger than 12. Nice outdoor firepit area and the kitchen facilities enabled us to have group meals nightly. Rate was quite reasonable for the entire home.

Great Cabin in the Country

Our family really enjoyed staying at the cabin after my mom's service. There were 13 of us and it was just right with plenty seating, lots of kitchen dishes, pans, bathroom towels and supplies. Lots of games for entire family to enjoy and had smores at the fire pit. The owners were very kind and have done a great job of upkeep on the cabin. Three of our grandkids got to see snow for the first time. Praying our family gets to return to stay in this cabin again.

Great stay

My friends and I have an annual retreat every year. This year we chose Kentucky and were able to visit nearby distilleries in Frankfort. The property offers privacy and great amenities. I would absolutely recommend to others!

Wonderful Getaway for Our Group

There was a group of 12 Ladies from the Class of 1967 High School. We get together every Fall and have for several years. This location was great for us. We did have a small problem with the bridge being out and had to detour to get there, but once there everything was great. Plenty of room for parking and playing games. Thanks for the stay and we will surely look to stay here again..

Bourbon Trail Experience

Stayed here for our annual trip to The Bourbon Trail. Had a great time. Easy check in. Great house except for all the lady bugs and extremely colder in the downstairs area. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Lots vm of room. Great for large parties. There were eight older adults on this trip!

Great Stay!

We traveled to Chandler Ridge with our kids and grandkids to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. We had 17 all together and had plenty of room and beds. Everything was as described. We were very pleased.

Peaceful retreat - great place to get together

Wonderful large cabin - plenty of seating for dining, space to move around, indoor and outdoor areas to enjoy, and activities for the family. 3 bedrooms with doors that close, pull-out beds and futons in every nook and cranny, and tons of room for roll-away beds. Not a lot of privacy, but I stayed with close family, so it wasn't a problem for us.

The house was clean and centrally located for all of our planned activities. There was plenty of space and beds got a group of 9. There were tons of activities to do at the house. The one downside was the loft area was a little hot for sleeping.

4 days of us stayed for 4 nights and used the “Cabin” as a home base for a 50th birthday Kentucky tour. Visited Whiskey Thief, Buffalo Trace, Regeneration, Barrel House and Southern Kentucky all within driving distance. My husband and I bought the land for Chandler Ridge in 2003, we began building that fall and by Spring 2005 the lodge was open for guests. We love to travel and have been very blessed to see some of the world so far. I have always wanted a log cabin of my own, but never dreamed of building a retreat facility. I have been in the hospitality business in some form since I was 18 so hosting guests from all over the world was not a big step for me. My husband is a great do it all kinda guy and we have built several things together. By far, the cabin is our favorite and we hope you enjoy it too.

This beautiful 20 acres is wonderfully located to experience all Kentucky has to offer. Halfway between Louisville and Lexington and just south of Cincinnati, we are in the ideal spot for seeing all aspectsof the Bluegrass State.
