The Lodge Suite at Dakota Dream B&B. Secluded, Close to Custer, Great Breakfast!

Our Lodge Suite gives you approximately 1300 square feet of living space including; 2 bedrooms (Bears Den & Black Hills), 2 bathrooms, living room, gas fireplace, flat-screen tv, two patios front and rear, plus two private enhances.  The entire ground floor of our wonderful log lodge.

A gas barbecue, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator provide the conveniences of home for your Great Faces / Great Places adventure in the Black Hills. Roast marshmallows over the fire pit among the pines or simply gaze upon the beauty of a Dakota starry night. 

Ideal for two couples or a family wanting the conveniences and privacy of you very own Dakota Dream. Explore the world at your own pace. Lounge in the porch swing watching the sunset. Walk the paddocks in the early morning light as the deer and rabbits browse the summer grasses.

WiFi throughout to help you stay connected to the other world we live in.

Amazing place

We stayed at Dakota Dream for 2 nights in June 2023 whilst visiting Custer State Park. Mackenzie is a wonderful host who could not do enough for us. Breakfasts were amazing and beautifully presented. Highly recommend!

The owner is very nice. The house is also very nice. We loved petting the Brahma bull and feeding him cookies. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Excellent Bed and Breakfast

Host was absolutely amazing. Place was very clean, and well taken care of. Host was an excellent cook, with awesome breakfast meals. I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to stay in that area. Outside the main stream of things, but close enough to enjoy the towns and attractions surrounding it. Outstanding, beautiful, and peaceful place to stay. The Host is an amazing person, and makes sure the stay was absolutely perfect. This property deserves 10 stars instead of 5 stars. Absolutely Amazing!!

A great place to stay in a great region

This is a special place run by a special woman. Lovely accommodations that are beautifully decorated and appointed. I would describe it as a rustic cabin design aesthetic, that when viewed in its totality is very elegant. Sometimes in a B&B you have only a mild degree of privacy. That's not the case here. The two rooms in the house are on their own separate level, with their own private entrance. There is a very large, attractive living room which is solely for the guests. Another special feature: the breakfasts that McKenzie prepares are simply INCREDIBLE. I'm confident that every one of the four breakfasts that we enjoyed, was much better than what one could obtain from just about any restaurant in town. Very quiet location. Excellent value.
