This cabin was perfect for our family vacation during the holidays. Plenty of room for the whole family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to come back soon.
The property is very nice and in a quite location. It was perfect for all of my family. The owners were very prompt in communicating. Would go back again.
The cabin was nestled up a hill in a private, small community. Beautiful trees with 2 front porch views. The furniture was nice quality and fit the beautiful classy bear theme! The loft beds are exactly that, a loft, but they had their own bathroom so it was good for kids. We loved this property and the host was very sweet. It was very convenient to App, blue ridge, Tweetsie railroad, Banner Elk and a 30 min drive to grandfather mountain-perfect for us. You will definitely enjoy your stay.
Nice, cozy cabin that was large enough for my family. Spacious kitchen, family area, game room, and plenty of room for sleeping arrangements. I would recommend to anyone with a large family who is looking in this area.
We stayed to attend an App State football game. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was very convenient to Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock. Communication with host was excellent. Highly recommend!
We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. It had everything you would need and more. Location was very convenient for our trip to App State. Owner was very responsive and kindly answered our questions about local hikes and restaurants. If you're looking for a mountain cabin without the treacherous roads to reach it, this is the place. The cabin and grounds are very well kept and clean. I definitely recommend this cabin.
Good location, easy to find, easy in and out, close to a grocery store and centrally located The cabin was well kept and porch just rebuilt The cabin had lots of room, plenty of beds in loft to accommodate more people that advertised. The bed I slept in was the most comfortable I've ever slept in in a rental. If I ever go back to that area this is the cabin I will rent.
The host was great and the cabin was amazing. She gave a full rundown of the rules and explained what the cabin had and didn't have which helped us to know what was needed to bring. I go to the mountains and stay in cabins often, I will definitely come back to this cabin.
Located at a good distance between downtown Boone and banner elk, easy to access both places. Sugar mountain as well. Quiet and a beautiful mountain cabin. Porch is great. Lots of room to spread out over the 3 levels. Would rent again. You do have to access stairs to get to the main level. Thanks!
Our long weekend was great. The location was easy to access. We had more than enough space. The kids were able to play outside for a bit. It was very warm and cozy. Just a few miles from downtown Boone, Blowing Rock and Tweetsie Railroad.
We enjoyed our stay at this property and highly recommend it! Communication with the owners was prompt and friendly, and the kitchen is well-stocked with condiments and other necessities to help you during the stay. We were two families traveling together and the layout is perfect for the kids to be upstairs and the adults on the main floor. One thing we particularly liked about this rental is the kitchen table was large enough for our group of 10 to have dinner together. The fireplace adds to the coziness of the mountain retreat during the cold winter.
