Not as expected

We paid for 2 nights at this property and ending up spending less than hour here. First, the host lives in a separate structure on the lot. According to her, this fact was “obvious” based on the one picture that shows this structure off to the side in the background. Although we felt the listing was misleading, we could have probably gotten past it if the house had been clean. It was not. The main bedroom had old sheets thrown in a corner, brown (formerly white) pillow cases, spots on the sheets/comforter & no mattress cover. The guest rooms had furniture with sheets thrown over them taking up half the room (not pictured on the listing), a severely stained chair & the bottom twin bunk had debris (not sure what it actually was) all over one corner. We did fail the pay the final 25% before arriving because we assumed it would autopay like on other sites. After we left the host aggressively brought the mistake to our attention. We went ahead paid the remainder even though we had already booked a hotel and had no intention of staying at the property. We thought the host would work with us and at the very least refund the $140 cleaning fee but no luck. There are much better places to spend your time in Houston.

A good getaway

The property was much nicer in real life compared to the picture. Very spacious and has a lot of room to sleep. Paula was very well-accommodating us as her guest. We enjoyed our graduation weekend here at her place.
