Fare Tokatea has been newly renovated and can accommodate 2 guests (+1 small child on the sofa). It has a spacious air conditioned bedroom with a queen size bed and a nice and clean newly renovated bathroom.

The outdoor fully-equipped kitchen is a fun part of the experience. You’ll feel like you’re cooking in the garden with a beautiful garden view and just a bit further you can spot the lagoon.

The outdoor shower is a great addition too after a long day at the beach, you can rinse off al fresco.

BEACH ACCESS
Fare Tokatea benefits from an exclusive beach access to a gorgeous private white sand beach. The beach is accessible through an empty private lot to which you can bring your portable bbq and spend your whole day there. There are also 2 kayaks available for you to explore the lagoon and discover the surrounding sea life.

THE LOCATION
Fare Tokatea is located in Varari which is just a little bit after Tiahura where all the shops and restaurants are located. However, right across from the alley way that leads to the fare, there’s a grocery store that is walking distance. That’s extremely convenient if you’re traveling on a budget and don’t feel like renting a car. You can just spend all your time at the studio. Between, barbecuing at the beach, kayaking in the lagoon and just lounging around in front of the smart TV, you will not want to leave!

Great Place to Stay to Relax!

A cozy little space to rest and relax. Love the outdoor kitchen (though bring some bug spray!) and the beach access. The neighbour Ben is super friendly and gave us lots of fresh local fruit. We had a great time!

Great cozy getaway

Property was in excellent condition, very close to beach. Property management company was a dream to work with! Grocery store and local restaurant are within walking distance. You will need some form of transportation if you want to get anywhere else on the island.

Perfect little beach bungalow

Nothing fancy, but SUPER bright, cute, clean and comfortable. You can see the ocean from the outdoor kitchen (the owners yard separates you), then a quick walk on the property to a wonderful beach. Kitchen has basically everything needed. Would definitely stay again!

Great stay in moorea

Our little apartment was perfect for the two of us. I loved cooking in the outside kitchen. The community is welcoming and quiet. Very nice market at the end of the road I would definitely recommend. Great sunsets and kayaking. Bring water shoes as most of French Polynesia has much coral.

Beautiful spot

Upon arrival, the exterior was beautiful. The management was very accomodating when we arrived early. The interior had a musty smell due to the a/c being off. There were quite a lot of ants in the bathroom, which prompted us to buy some Raid. TheTheTheThTheiintinteriotinteriolooking.

Great little place in friendly neighborhood

Clean, efficient, kayaks, washer, outdoor kitchen, Very nice grassy shaded area above the beach to sit and watch the sunset, or the rays feed... just a 2 minute walk from the apartment. little store and snack shop another 2 minutes, very handy! Take the kayak out to the sandy area, turtles, sharks, rays... I was a solo female traveling and enjoyed this friendly little neighborhood!

The perfect getaway

I did a lot of online research before booking Fare Tokatea, and I’m so glad I did! My husband and I had an excellent two-week stay, and took full advantage of the beach (great snorkeling!) and the kayaks. Our neighbor Ben was a trip highlight, and we felt deeply connected to local culture through him. The grocery store and restaurant just up the road were perfect for our needs, and our neighbors were all very friendly. It’s a quiet corner of the island, but nothing is too far away. We hope to return - mauruuru roa!

Absolutely stunning!

We would change our future plans to come back if it meant we couldn’t stay here again. The property was clean and orderly. The bed was comfortable and plenty of room. We didn’t feel uncomfortable for a moment while we were staying at Fare Tokatea. The lady that met us there was incredibly kind. The man who keeps the yard clean was very kind to us and shared fresh fruit with us. He cut open the coconuts for us to drink in the beach!! We loved our stay, and we would recommend it to anyone. 10/10

We enjoyed staying at the studio. It was a very serene environment and it was nice to go to the private beach. However, there were a couple things that caught our attention; there were two stray dogs that followed us everywhere from the car to the home and also to the private beach. We are not used to stray dogs following us so that was disconcerting. Also, when we first arrived And pulled the sheets back, there was a stain/crusty stuff on the sheet, which I did inform the property management. I had to clean it myself before lying on the bed because it was too late in the evening for anyone to change the sheets. I do not know if they came and changed the sheets for the second night or not however, I did not receive a response to my Email. Apart from that we did enjoy our stay in Moorea and we did enjoy the private beach and the studio.

Piece of Paradise

Loved our visit at this beautiful place. It was nice not to stay at a resort and stay at a private home surrounded by local people. The place is just as described. Love the outdoor kitchen all the fruit trees surrounding the area. We had a little trouble with checking in we had to wait a bit but all turned out just fine. We got to meet the owners who are really nice and gave us a few suggestions when we asked. There’s a local neighbor that greeted us with warm, coconut bread, and the best coconut I ever tasted. We saw him often at the small beach, which had the most beautiful sunsets. Make sure if you snorkel to fill out in this area. We weren’t aware of how beautiful the fish were until on the last evening. My husband went out and snorkeled and said how beautiful it was. A great find for us would highly recommend

Un superbe logement, proche de l'océan qui ai très appréciable. Niveau propreté en arrivant rien a redire ainsi que l'accueil, merci à Marine. Petit soucis sur la douche, où il manquait un robinet en arrivant et les oreillers devraient être changés plus régulièrement car il n'était pas très propre, du a l'humidité excessive en ce moment. J'ai prévenu Marine de ses petits détails a mon départ. Un petit aspirateur serais un petit plus Niveau équipement confort, mais rien d'obligé car on s'en sort quand même.

Super séjour au Fare Tokatea !

Nous avons passé un super séjour au Fare Tokatea avec un super accueil de Marine ! Le Logement est parfait avec une cuisine extérieure vraiment sympa et bien équipée. L'accès à une petite plage avec un coucher de soleil incroyable et la possibilité de prendre des kayaks pour aller se balader dans le lagon exceptionnel en face de la plage sont un vrai plus. Un grand merci au voisin qui nous a gentiment offert des noix de coco et un pamplemousse frais. Nous recommandons ce logement idéalement situé proche des restaurants, des motus et des clubs de plongée, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !

Mein Favorit auf Moorea! Absolute Ruhe und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, genau wie auf den Fotos. Sehr sauber, praktisch und alles wie neu. Schöne Freiluft-Küche mit allem, was man braucht. Eine kleine nötige Reparatur wurde unkompliziert gemacht. Gute Kommunikation. Hübscher kleiner Strand, nur ein paar Meter entfernt, zum Schnorcheln kann man mit dem Kayak rausfahren (sonst sehr flach) und Schildkröten, Mantas und Haie finden. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind spektakulär! Ohne Mietauto wahrscheinlich etwas zu abgelegen. Aber wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit mag, ist hier genau richtig. Ich würde Fare Tokatea sofort wieder buchen!
