Bring the boat, family, and friends to this beautiful, clean, well-maintained Possum Kingdom Lake front home conveniently located only 1.5 hours from the heart of the DFW metroplex. Enjoy treehouse views of the lake from the floor to ceiling picture windows, or walk down the multi terraced decks where you will find the boat dock, and 2 rock patios. Launch your boat at the public ramp less than one mile away, and tie it up to the home's private 2 level boat dock (note: boat lift is for owners use only). Water at the dock is NEVER shallow at an average depth of 45+ feet deep! Awesome panoramic views of the beautiful Texas sunsets from windows, decks, and dock. Our home is located on the best strip of shoreline at PK. Our location on the north side of the peninsula is sheltered from the higher winds...which means less wind chop...perfect for skiing, boarding, tubing, etc., right in front of the dock! You won't find a better spot for water sports!

Inside the home you will find a newly renovated and fully appointed kitchen with huge picture window views, large island, granite, gas cooktop, farmhouse sink, commercial size fridge/freezer and extra-long family dining table that seats 10! Patio doors open to huge terraced decks with bbq grill, outside dinning table, multiple seating areas, porch swing & gas fire table. Plenty of areas to relax! Family room has soaring beamed ceilings, a ceramic log fireplace, and plenty of seating to enjoy the gorgeous views of the lake. It also features a large screen smart TV, bar height table, oversized couch, swivel rocking chairs, foosball & plenty of games to keep you entertained.

The property consists of the Main House, and a detached Bunk House:

Main house has 3 bedrooms & a sleeping loft:

-2 bedrooms with queen beds that share 1 full size bathroom across the hallway

-1 bedroom with king bed and in suite bathroom

-Loft: Teens and tweens will love the 2nd story sleeping loft overlooking the family room, with double bed, 2 twin beds and smart TV. A full size bath is located off the family room right downstairs from the loft for easy access.

Just steps from the front door is the new detached bunkhouse with sleeping for 5 with full size bathroom.

This is a great home for memorable stays with family and friends! Public boat ramp, watercraft rentals, hiking/biking trails, restaurants, convenience store, and really nicely stocked grocery store (The Trading Post) all located less than a mile from the home for the ultimate in convenience. Many more restaurants and Possum Kingdom Tackle Company (bait, fishing, kayaking, supplies, etc.) located within 5 minutes drive. The Cliffs Golf Resort is only 15 minutes away. Great place on PK lake

We had a wonderful time at this home!! Our family of 8 adults and 2 children had plenty of room. You are right on the water, and can swim, float, lay out, get on your jet skis or boat and take off. There are plenty of bathrooms and a great kitchen to cook or entertain. It was very easy communicating with the host. They responded in a very short amount of time.

Family vacation

We stayed an entire week at the lake house and had a ball. The owners did an amazing job with this house, it is decorated beautifully, the porch has so much room and has so many different spots for a large family like ours to sprawl out on. The dock was so much fun to hang out on all day long. I was so thankful for the entire vacation and had such a good time. There are so many amazing personal touches. I would love to go back and stay.

We had a wonderful time as a family. Beautiful renovated home plenty of space in the home, on the deck, and on the dock. We also enjoyed a few of the restaurants near by and there was a very convenient grocery store. Highly recommend!!

Great family vacation!

Fabulous place to stay. Great for large groups with several deck areas, 3 full baths, bunkhouse with full bath and large kitchen with seating for the entire crew! Close to boat launch and a marina. It was a perfect weekend! Thanks for the memories.

Our love of the lake runs deep! Angela grew up in a competitive water-skiing family learning to double ski at the early age of 5 yrs old and was on a slalom by 7 yrs old. Her mom was a competitive slalom skier and even ran a ski school at one time. Angela grew up on Lake Tenkiller in Eastern Oklahoma where her extended family still share a very special lake house. Through the years that love of laking has engrained in Stephen and their two teenage boys, Thomas & Alex, who all slalom ski, wakeboard, and surf. We are so excited to now have our own dream lake house closer to our primary FTW home so that we can spend even more time on the water!

Why they chose this property

We searched for a while for the perfect lake house for us. We knew the "lake" feel that we wanted and this fit! We were not looking for a resort vacation home. We wanted it to feel like a nature engulfed true "lake house" or cabin. We are so grateful to have found the perfect property for us and feel confident you will love it as well!

What makes this property unique

This is a unique lakefront property as it is on the main road, so it is very easy to get to and conveniently located near stores and restaurants. But step out the back of the house and you feel totally secluded and private. It also has the unique feature of both stairs down to the dock or choose a gradual grade cement pathway. It has an awesome treetop view but isn't a crazy strenuous trek down to the waterfront. (Which those familiar with PK lake know that it can be hard to find both in one property.) This is also just about the closest/fastest proximity to DFW and still be in deep water (45+ feet deep at our dock).
