Superbe emplacement, accueil très sympathique. La location est un excellent point de départ pour découvrir l’Ardèche, ses villages magnifiques et ses habitants si accueillants. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons vivement !

Refugium in absoluter Ruhe

Das Haus hat eine schöne Lage mit tollem Blick auf Gras, den man auch vom Pool aus genießen kann. Die Natur in der Umgebung ist wunderschön und bietet mit dem Fluss Ardèche spektakuläre Blicke. Dennoch muss man die Ruhe lieben, denn selbst zum Einkaufen in einem kleineren Supermarkt muss man mindestens 20 Minuten fahren. Wir hatten eine gute Zeit, können das Haus aber nur eingeschränkt weiterempfehlen, da die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin schwierig war und wir uns nach vielen Jahren bei Fewo erstmals nicht als willkommene Gäste gefühlt haben. So gab es im Vorfeld, wie sonst üblich, keinen Hinweis, dass wir die Bettwäsche und die Handtücher für sechs Personen selbst mitbringen müssen oder möglicherweise extra buchen können. Vor Ort erreichte uns leider auch erst die Nachricht, dass eine Kaution in Höhe von 200 Euro in bar zu hinterlegen sei. Am unerfreulichsten war allerdings die Hausübergabe bei unserer Abreise. Das Haus wurde von den zwei betreuenden Damen bis aufs kleinste Detail in Augenschein genommen und kontrolliert. Obwohl wir eine Reinigungsgebühr bezahlt hatten und das Haus nach zwei Wochen Urlaub in einem sehr ordentlichen Zustand hinterlassen hatten, wurde moniert, dass wir keine Endreinigung vorgenommen haben. Die Kaution wurde deshalb einbehalten. Da die gesamte Kommunikation nur in französisch möglich war und man sich nicht mit englisch verständigen konnte, mussten wir das so akzeptieren Reinigungsgebühr bezahlt hatten un

Des vacances de rêve

Un cadre idéal pour des vacances : nous avons apprécié la maison, le calme environnant, notre promenade au village à la tombée du soir mais aussi des distractions à moins d’une trentaine de kms; grotte Chauvet, canoë sur l’Ardèche, marchés paysans, petits restaurants… Bref on a adooooré !!!

Our stay at Maison au Calme

The setting for this house is beautiful, a hidden valley topped by a delightful little village. It is off the beaten track which takes a few days to get used to but you soon settle in. Out and about there are cafés, bars and restaurants everywhere and really good quality food. The house itself is lovely but I think would benefit greatly from having WiFi in this day and age, that isn't a criticism it is a, hopefully, helpful suggestion.
