From the moment we walked in, we felt at home. Full kitchen, bathroom, beds, and living room area. Plus, it has its own balcony with furniture to relax and rest on. Our trip to Maui was awesome! The condo was spacious and clean and the location of Maui Kaanapali Villas is really great - right on the beautiful beach with views of Molokai and Lanai. Easy walking to Whalers Village restauants. We saw whales every day from breakfast at the villa cafe! The condo provided beach chairs which we used daily on the beach! And the condo lanai patio gave us gorgeous views of sunsets each night. Loved our stay!

Our family of 4 loved staying here. The location was great! Walking distance to Whalers Village, great snorkeling right out front, and a beautiful beach. The restaurant by the pool was delicious. We also loved the free shuttle to all the stops we wanted. Close to grocery stores. We would definitely stay here again. The room was great for us. Well stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and a great little balcony. Fit 4 comfortably.

Maui Kaanapali Villas are located in the middle of the best beach in Hawaii with views of Lahaina and Molokai. Great swimming and snorkeling, not crowded, warm water and gentle waves. With two large swimming pools with excellent water aerobics and yoga classes 5 times a week and Castaway restaurant on the property, everything is right there. Fine dining and shopping is a short tolley ride away at Whalers Village. The studio unit is a little small but the price is right and it has all amenities needed for a comfortable stay.

Beauty and the Beach

Really great property with the beach and pool so close by -- we spent most of our time near or in the water and could not have chosen a better location. Great snorkeling spot right next door at the Kahekili Beach Park. The daily towels were just so useful with a family of 4. We deliberately chose this property because it offered two double beds so we could all sleep comfortably. The space is small but very well organized and thoughtfully decorated -- we found having the outside space especially helpful!

This property has it all, the beach, the pool, the restaurant, the free trolly to popular nearby locations, and the friendliest staff who quickly made us feel welcome and at home. This unit in particular was just like the photos: very clean, modern, had all the needed appliances and technology. Bonus is the beautiful lanai which is rare. The owner was super responsive and helpful which I needed as my booking was last minute and time sensitive. I've been visiting all the islands for over 30 years and this is my new favorite spot. I will definitely be contacting this property first when I plan to return... which I hope is soon!

Great, low key resort on the beach in Kaanapali. Located on the miles long beachfront boardwalk that easily connects you to restaurants, other resorts and Whalers Village shopping. Easy free trolley if you don’t want to walk. Great swimming beach, shaded grassy area, on-site restaurant /bar and activity shack. This studio unit is well appointed kitchen, nicely decorated and has a lovely view (great sunsets) from the large deck. Two good queen size beds. We had minor issue with Roku TV set up. I emailed the owner and he replied and called within minutes. We figured it out on our own but the owner was very responsive; couldn’t ask for better host, very accommodating. Great stay and as this is our favorite resort on the West side, we hope to return soon!

We wouldn’t hesitate to return again. The location was great – within walking distance of everything we needed. The condo was nice, clean, the beds and furniture were comfortable, and the kitchen provided all we wanted (it’s nice to have a full-size refrigerator). The hosts were awesome. We don’t have a lot of experience with VRBO rentals, but Allen and Lora were easily the most responsive hosts that we have had. They even provided some welcoming treats and a lei for Valentine’s Day! We knew the building air conditioning was not working before we arrived. It was warm the first few afternoons. But, the hosts were accommodating and the condo has a ceiling, pedestal, and table fans. With some outside wind, there is good cross ventilation within the unit, such that we were comfortable thereafter. The resort itself is attractive and clean. The complementary morning coffee was great. We never had a problem finding empty lounge chairs around the pool. We gave Castaways bar/restaurant business nearly every day. The only complaint was that the laundry was closed and there were no drinking fountains in the building. Thanks Allen and Lora for the nice stay.

Wonderful beach with wonderful hosts

My wife and I brought our 2 kids (4 and 1 yrs) for our 10th anniversary and had a wonderful time. We’ve been to Kaanapali multiple times, but this stretch of beach was by far my favorite. It was very uncrowded compared to the resorts area, but with the stunning beach, water, and views of Lanai and Molokai. And walking distance to puukekaa point. The property was really nice - highlight for us was the free trolley to whalers village. We did numerous dinners/luaus/boats all without packing up the car, The pool was not as nice as the big hotels, but it was nice enough and was never crowded - we always got some shade when desired. The unit itself was great for us. The kitchen was small but fully featured including dishwasher and garbage disposal. The unit was clean and put together well. The highlight of the room was the lanai. It’s not right on the water, but you have great views of Lanai and the ocean over a couple trees and buildings. Plus the lanai was shady until noon, and had full table and lounge seats for coffe, reading, breakfast or dinner. A few downsides were the small kitchen, the complex wasn’t very glitzy and felt a bit old, and the unit was a little close to the road. You can’t see the road which is nice, but hearing the traffic zoom by takes you out of the otherwise paradise. The hosts were very gracious, communicative, and accommodating, and it’s additionally helpful to have a 24 hour front desk. Overall was a great place, in an even better location

Good to great location. Decor was a bit busy.

This is a constructive criticism for the owner. This place could be a hidden gem. Awesome location and great deck space, but seriously the living space had too much stuff. Too much stuff on the walls and every horizontal surface was filled with clutter. Way too many chairs.... we had to shove two or three chairs into a corner just to have some space. We had to find another space to shove all the horizontal surface clutter, so that we put add our stuff (and it's not like we bring a lot). The deck had 8 chairs (16 cheeks). Simplify... That said and changing course, y'oud think the kitchen would be stocked... Nope - cheap knives, no spices, NO PEPPER, and cheezy pans. Oh... and no drawers to put your clothes in,.. just hotel suitcase foldout stands. Seriously, If I am going to spend a week somewhere I want to be able to put my clothes in drawers and put the suitcases somewhere out of the way. It just added to the clutter. Still had an awesome time. I will totally come back to this unit if I see photos of much more sparce decor. Until that happens, I will be looking at units on the same floor.

First visit to Maui was in 1993. Loved my visit to the island and could not wait to go back. Purchased because of the location and the beautiful beach in front of the resort. One of my favorite things to do is walk or take the complementary trolley to Whalers Village. Feet in the sand at Hula Grill or strawberry pie at Monkeypod kitchen. Only a 17 minute walk/stroll to the mall (Whalers Village). Hope you enjoy it as much as my wife and I do. Paradise!
