Texas Kind of Way, located in the Kaniatobe Trails addition to the community of Hochatown, is the perfect place for your next getaway! Texas Kind of Way is near many local attractions, dining experiences, shopping opportunities, and plenty of family fun at Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake. Upon entering, you will be greeted by a beautiful open concept living, dining, and kitchen area with a loft above. The living area features a gas log fireplace, a large television with Direct TV programming and reclining sofas to spend your evenings relaxing. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the porch swing out front or at the high-top table for two next to the kitchen. Texas Kind of Way features a beautiful, fully-stocked, kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless-steel appliances. Everything you need to prepare and serve a wonderful meal is provided in the kitchen. The dining area features a large dining room table with seating for 10 and additional seating at the kitchen island.

The master bedroom features a luxurious King bed, a television equipped with Direct TV, and an en-suite master bathroom. The master bathroom features two vanities, a large soaking tub, and a walk-in shower. There are two additional downstairs bedrooms, both featuring luxurious king beds and televisions equipped with Direct TV. These bedrooms share a hallway bathroom with a luxurious granite vanity and a tub/shower combo. Upstairs you will find a large loft area, perfect for family fun, with sofas, a pool table, and a television equipped with Direct TV. Upstairs you will also find the fourth bedroom, equipped with a luxurious king bed, a chair that folds into a twin sleeper, and a television with Direct TV to relax and unwind before bed. There is a full bathroom upstairs with a luxurious granite vanity and a tub/shower combo.
Your family and friends will surely enjoy spending time outside the cabin with a huge 1-acre yard. Relax in the large hot tub undercover on the back deck while the outdoor chef of the group prepares a great meal on the gas grill with propane provided. Relaxing Getaway

Great place with plenty of space. Everything was stocked and location was 2nd to none. Backyard patio was wonderful for relaxation and a “small” dance party. Had a great time!

Amazing cabin and location

Our cabin was amazing and very well stocked. Everyone enjoyed the cabin and all the amenities it had to offer. A lot of space to relax. Our host was amazing and very quick to respond to all questions. We would recommend this cabin to anyone and we look forward to coming back in the future.

Perfect weekend get-away

We had a wonderful time at Texas Kind of Way over the weekend. We wanted a get-away just before school started for our family of four and this was a perfect spot. We hiked, rented a boat, had some great pizza (Grateful Head!!!) and then just hung out. We loved the cabin...just the right size for the four of us. Thanks for the recommendation, Brenda!

Great Experience

We really enjoyed our stay at Texas Kind of Way property. It had everything we were looking for an unforgettable fun family get together. There’s something for everyone here from toddlers to grandparents. The cabin is well-equipped for outdoor grilling, making it perfect for BBQ evenings and enjoying marshmallows by the fire. Overall everyone had such amazing experience and would come back to this property.

Nice property, the adults had a good time. Every appliance we needed to prepare meals was pretty much there. More stuff for the teens would have been nice. There was only a pool table inside. A theater room with a closed door would make a great property better.

Great location

This house was perfect for our family. Pros: All king beds in the 4 bedrooms, well equipped kitchen, loved the porches and hot-tub and great location. Close to all the wineries, zip lines and close to Broken Bow lake. Con: The road to the house needs work. Half blacktop and rocky. No garbage disposal so had to be very careful what we put down the kitchen sink. Upstairs shower drain needs work.

Quiet and Relaxing GetAway

Our family of 9 enjoyed our stay at Texas Kind of Way. The neighborhood was quiet, the house was clean and had plenty of dishes for our large family. We have 3 suggestions to make the stay 5 Star: 1. the east-facing bedroom were EXTREMELY bright in the morning, even with the blinds shut. Those bedrooms need black-out curtains. 2. if the pool table is going to be there, chalk should be provided. An accident is waiting to happen when a pool ball gets hit off the table and possibly sails over the railing. 3. the hand soap dispensers should be full for each stay (all of our bottles were half-full when we arrived.

Convenient, Clean, Family Friendly

Convenient location, clean and fun for kids. There are houses to the one side and behind that are separated by thin strip of trees, but ample space on the other side with trees to let kids run around in. The place has a fully stocked kitchen (don't waste time and space bringing your own plates, silverware and cooking ware), board games, great inside fireplace and large hot tub. The hot tub heat did not work, the maintenance person believes a heater needed replaced and the hot tub person doesn't work weekends, so couldn't be done until after we were gone. Host was kind enough to offer reduction on a future stay as the amenity that was not working. Kids missed out on the fun in the hot tub, but they will get another chance on our next trip.

Texas Kind of Way not what we expected

The pricing on this property is way out of line for the situation. Living room furniture and all mattresses need to be replaced. Plumbing issue during our stay, ice maker broken., microwave stopped working. The roads to get to this cabin are horrible, full of holes on the gravel and paved roads, major wear and tear on vehicles, Would not recommend for the price.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We leased last minute- Barbara jumped thru hoops to get the house cleaned and ready for us. The house was outfitted with everything you could imagine for cooking for a family. Loved the location-- close to everything, but away from noise of the strip. The hot tub wasn't warming when we arrived, but they arrived promptly and got it working asap. I recommend the owners get a few board games. Thanks Barbara for your efforts to get everything ready for us! We had such a great time... we'll be back and we'll give Lakewood Luxury Cabins a call. I so prefer working with local companies over VRBO or AirBnB.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First of all the Cabin was lovely, & the accommodations were very comfortable. You just need to bring your clothes, food, chairs & towels for lake outings. The only thing in the cabin that needs attention is the toilet in the downstairs guest bath (handle sticks & toilet doesn't fill up. Also the recliner needs to be 's dangerous! The road to the cabin was TERRIBLE, which is why I can't give it a 4 on location!!! In all seriousness, an off road vehicle would be challenged on the road...HUGE pot holes. I going to give it a 3, because of the AWEFUL road, but other than the items mentioned above the Cabin was great & if the road was fixed, I'd stay there again & give it a 5.

Great Family Vacation

We had a wide range of ages and there was something for everyone. The teenagers enjoyed the pool table, the little ones loved the hot tub, we made S'mores at the fire pit, we grilled every meal, we did not have to bring any cooking supplies other than a waffle iron that we wanted to use, they even had a Crock pot! Two pull out sofas in the loft and a chair that pulls out into a twin in one of the bedrooms. No Netflix though. They may want to update the listing since it says shuffleboard and there is no shuffleboard but there are horseshoes! Also there were corn hole boards and bags. Nice Long dining room table. The couches could use updating, they were comfy but I felt like they would break every time we tried to recline. Beds were comfy, air conditioner worked great, the kiddos loved the swingset and the teenagers were able to easily hook the playstation up in their room. We would def stay here again! Right in the middle of all of the activities as well which was nice!
