I rented the Casita Esmeralda for a family stay. As it turns out, 3 of the 5 of us didn’t travel due to Covid, but my sister and I stayed at the house. The house was just as listed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots & pans, cooking utensils, dinnerware, etc. The coffee pot could accommodate Keurig pods or you could make a pot of drip coffee (flat bottomed filters, which they had plenty of).
The place was spotless, beds were comfortable, towels fluffy. There was a garage for my car, washer/dryer. Also supplied were surf boards/boogie boards. Table for 4 upstairs, bar height table downstairs for 3. The outdoor space is great - table for 8, comfortable furniture, fire pit, which we didn’t use, swinging double seat.
Close to the main drag (Garnet) of Pacific Beach, so taco shops, grocery stores, ice cream shops, etc. It’s a 6-7 block walk to the beach from the house, so not far. Definitely a beachy town - lots of surfers hanging out and lots of young people. The PB beach seems better suited to surfing than sunbathing and swimming. A 15-20 min drive up to La Jolla beaches which are really beautiful but much more crowded.
