Our hostess Florence is charming and made out trip so pleasant and peaceful. She communicated well via the VRBO app as well as What's app. Her cottage and the little town in which it was located was charming and represented the quiet respite we were looking for in Brittany. Florence lives right next door (in what we would call a duplex), so she was easily accessible but gave us our privacy and greeted us warmly whenever we saw her. The cottage itself is very quiet, with roosters and church bells to wake us up. We felt at home and comfortable during our stay. The water pressure and temperature are great. Kitchen is a bit rustic but we were not looking to bake any large meals. Laundry was convenient and easy to use. There were big windows that let in a nice breeze and looked out onto beautiful flowers and a grassy area. There are steep stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms, but manageable for those who are expecting it. We only used the big king size bed, which was quite comfortable.Most sites to visit in the area, were about a 20-30 minutes drive. Menhirs de Montneuf were extraordinary. Josselin with it's Chateau de Rohan was interesting and impressive. Forests of Broceliande were beautiful, including a hike around Paimpont. I would return to visit Florence and her lovely cottage again. And she had a friendly cat that stopped by each day to visit!
