About this property
Unique & extraordinary experience - renew your senses. Delightful waterfront!
Peaceful Waterfalls, and Private, bountiful gardens!
The first thing you'll notice is the precious sound of cascading water! This special home was built in 1830 as a component to a mill circa 1766, the waterfall and waterwheel processed lumber to build area homes and businesses. Enjoy delightful living next to the waterfall, on a quiet road, surrounded by extraordinary gardens, in the charming town center. Here you'll find the peaceful tranquility in nature for a truly relaxing get away. Multiple weeks yield best results! Recently restored and remolded the home features an open floor plan. Every window frames a beautiful view: the waterfall, the neighbor's shaker-style barns, gardens and flowers, hills and woods. Our home is set on a safe, quiet side street, within walking distance to the General Store, nature trails, the town recreation area, and the historic society. It is quiet here, charming, and laid back. Drift off to sleep with the sound of the waterfall. Venture out to the vegetable and herb garden and forage for tonight's dinner. Pick raspberries and bake muffins. This is a very special home that we are extremely proud to share with you! Only booking for stays of 30 days or longer.
