Very nice location

The location is very nice. The beach is awesome. The only negative is the beach gets a little crowded from noon until about 5 pm. Plenty of places to eat and things to do. Or just relaxing on the beach is very nice also. The water was a really nice temperature and clear during our stay.

We enjoyed every aspect of our stay. Checking in was breeze. The views were breathtaking, and the ease of access to the beach and pool made things very easy for our family to enjoy multiple trips to both. The golf cart was an added bonus that allowed us to spend several nights enjoying dinner and drinks at local establishments in and around the Sandestin Resort area.

The fire works were unexpected and amazing. Yes, we had minor issues with our condo: cable kept going out in main living room and since weekend no one could come and fix; several GFCI outlets in kitchen didn't work so move things around; problem with kitchen sink faucet handle continually fall off...this list provided to management. No matter these issues we would love to come again.

No thanks on this unit ever again.

Condo was roach infested. Had to call maintenance out each day of our stay. They were in the cabinets, sink, drawers and crawling out from under the pantry.

Great beach BUT

The perks are the beach, the golf cart and the view from bed. Be ready to shell out 320.00 for 2 chairs and umbrella. Hope you don’t mind Roaches all over the kitchen floors. It was reported to management They sent someone to spray which made It worse the infestation needs more than a spray can. Never saw them anywhere else in the condo only the kitchen. Anywhere along the emerald coast is going to be great so I would avoid this condo if you are like me and can do without the roaches. Hope management seriously addresses this problem not just a 1 min spray job.

Nice but some flaws

Overall the condo was nice and clean. Beautiful view and short walk to the beach. There are a couple of flaws. 1. You need codes to get in the gates to the condo, and you have to have a parking pass to come into the resort. We were not notified of either of these things from the rental company. We had to go through a lot of trouble to get the parking pass and gate codes. 2. The bed in the main bedroom is VERY squeaky. If your spouse even moves around on the bed or gets up in the night, you will know. We didn’t sleep very well due to the squeaky bed. 3. The dryer is broken. I started a load of clothes in the washer and was unable to dry them. It sounds like there is a metal piece broken in it. Those were the main inconveniences, but we enjoyed the beach, and other accommodations the resort has to offer.

Family vacation

We love and have been to beachside I or II several times. This 11th floor condo was fine for our purposes and had those amazing views. I texted with management and emailed them a photo of the ripped shower curtain upon arrival which they said they would replace the next morning but never did during our week stay. After that, I gave up on contacting them. Beds were quite firm. The unit was clean and overall furniture was in good repair and updated. Washer and dryer worked well. Master shower drains slow. We fixed both the kitchen and master bath sinks- they literally fell apart when turned on. The can opener and iron and golf cart all had issues. Golf cart is a nicer one but needs servicing. Living room single chairs needed a good steam cleaning - they were white/blue and were visibly soiled. I threw a towel over them. One of the elevators (on the end) was completely down and per a long-term round resident we met, had been for months. He said the second (of 3) elevators frequently became unbalanced for the last several months and would be intermittently out of service. It was out of service a couple of days while we were there creating long lines to get up and down to and from rooms. The pool is nice. No hot tub. Parking is good. The immediate beach is fantastic but somewhat crowded as would be expected in mid July. There were a few beach supplies and lawn chairs in a closet.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at this property. The pros: golf cart, view, convenience to amenities and Baytowne/Grande Boulevard. With the golf cart, you really have little need for vehicle use unless it’s to go offsite shopping or dining. The condo has fresh paint and nice large table for dining and playing cards/games. The Negatives: the unit needs some love. One walk in shower would be great (the tub in the master bath is difficult to maneuver for us “older” folks. The mattresses aren’t great and kitchenware needs a few more pans, glassware, and a can opener. I left the manual one I bought for the next person. The sofa is worn with torn upholstery and is super uncomfortable. It’s just time for some refurbishment. Overall, we had a great stay and are pleased renting with My Vacation Haven. We will rent from them again, but probably not this unit unless it’s been refurbished.

Reviewer Comments: The golf cart, which is the first photo and reason we chose this condo, was not available. Our first day we had to have an electrician come out due to no outlets in the kitchen working. To say we were disappointed in this choice would be an understatement. This stay was to celebrate some major events, planned several months in advance, chosen carefully, and then let down. We requested regular updates on the golf cart, and that did not happen, along with not being made aware when the electrician would be in the condo. We had to reach out regularly for updates. The best part was the location.

I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I would not recommend this unit to anyone. First, there was construction going on right next to the unit, and we were never notified about this prior to our stay. It was very loud, and caused a huge disturbance. Other people staying in the building told us that they received discounts during this time because of the construction. Well we paid full price to hear jack hammering, and have construction dust blowing everywhere. There were no ice machines in the building, even though the description said there was. The showers on the walkway from the beach were closed off because of the construction. It was a huge inconvenience. If we would have known about the construction, we would not have stayed during this time. I even emailed the company, and never got a response. Two, the unit was disgusting. There were little roaches everywhere. You couldn’t open a cabinet without a roach crawling out. The floors were brown because of dirt. It looked like the floors have not been mopped in over a year. The furniture was old and worn down. The place is completely overpriced, and we will not be staying there again.

Beachside Bliss!

If you want to wake up every morning to see and hear the thrashing of emerald green waves on the white sandy beach from your bedroom window or balcony outside the living room, this is your place! Literally right on the beach which is easily accessible. Loved having access to a golf cart for local trips on the expansive property. We also had a car which was beneficial since the weather was up and down during our visit. Golf carts have access to go under HWY 98 via a tunnel- be sure to ask where that is when you go through one of the gated entries. If you only had access to the golf cart there is plenty of shopping, dining, entertainment in the Sandestin complex besides the beach and pools. The most challenging part of the visit was figuring out exactly where the building was- there are signs leading up to the entry, but the building is not clearly marked so you really aren't sure if you are in the right place. There are three important entry codes to know so make sure you have that information accessible when you arrive. We used their app which had everything needed quickly.

Great beachfront location

The biggest positive is the resort beachfront location and golf cart which made this Florida vacation stay great for our family with young adult daughters. We were able to go everywhere on the resort whenever we wanted with the golf cart. The view of the beach & condo are just as pictured. The check in process was a breeze with the very detailed information we received prior to arrival. The kitchen is fully stocked and helpful as we made all meals in the condo and it was mainly clean even with the busy travel season. There was a problem with the water faucet & someone was over to fix it within an hour which was great. We would give a 5-star review but there were a couple of issues which were not a deal breaker. As mentioned in the previous review the dryer does not work properly. We were able to dry a couple of loads of laundry & then it made a loud banging sound. The master bedroom mattress is quite uncomfortable & squeaks when you move.
