Keyholder met us at property and gave a tour of facilities. Initial perception - clean and tidy property. When settling in discovered bedding was unchanged from previous use. Bed supports were damaged and mattresses in poor condition. Alternative bedding was not available. There was little to no space for storing our clothing . All kitchen cupboards were overfilled and difficult to access items for use. Dishwasher was out of use from a previous occupant. Washing machine was leaking and flooring underneath was dirty. no lighting in laundry area. no outdoor facility to dry clothes. Fridge was filled with part used items. no food storage space for bread, cereals and dry goods. Only had use of 1 toilet as upstairs toilet blocked. Medicines in both bathroom cupboards left unlocked and no storage for our bathroom products. Freezer compartment frosted and unusable. only space to place luggage cases was in Garage which was filled with occupants items which meant our property was left behind. On departure there was small debris on bread board and butter in dish which I offered to dispose of but was advised it was unnecessary. All bedding and towels were removed by me and placed in the bath to safeguard against unwashed reuse for future occupants.
