A unique property

This property is full of character and makes for an unforgettable holiday. The pool is larger than average and, in June, already warm. the kitchen is huge and extremely well-equipped, and we spent most time there and outside. The dining room and salon are of country-mansion proportions, and it is easy to pretend you are lord of the manor. Duelle itself has a very useful shop, open on Sundays which is unusual, and the auberge next door was very welcoming and coped well with a party of 10 including babies, toddlers and young children. being able to stroll there through the vineyard was a real plus.Finally, Lionel was extremely helpful with local advice, and did all he could to make sure we were happy with the accommodation.

The House was truly magnificent. The Pool, Gardens, the vicinity close to Douelle couldn't have been better. Monsieur Boone was so very helpful with our questions about the area around the house.however there are 2 things that prevented our stay being an 8 out of 10 rather than a 10out of 10.1, there was no air conditioning the VRBO website clearly shows that the property had air-conditioning. we chose the property because of this we had a pregnant relative staying who needed this. Monsieur Boone explained that the breadth of the walls and the old nature of the property kept the house naturally cool however this was not the case upstairs.The property could easily improve by getting better quality BBQ's and there were insufficient sun beds round the pool there were only 6.with better BBQ's and more sun Loungers and of course the air conditioning unit La Moulinat would easily gain a 10 out of 10

Belle demeure

Beau manoir dans un parc magnifique. Vastes séjour et cuisine, propriétaire charmant et réactif. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. Seul bémol, ni la wifi ni la TV ne marchait lors de notre séjour. Si comme moi vous avez prévu un visio-conférence + regarder l'équipe de France au mondial de rugby mieux vaut vous assurer du fonctionnement.

Wonderful house for a family holiday

We were a group of 8 adults and 6 children all under 7 and we had a holiday to remember that met all our needs. The house is beautiful and very spacious and the garden and pool were great in the hot, sunny weather we were lucky to have. The house is set in lovely countryside with lots of walks and fresh bread and groceries just a short walk through the vineyards in Douelle. Would definitely recommend!

très chouette!

La maison est très spacieuse, nous n'avons pas pu rencontrer les propriétaires, mais l'accueil a été très sympathique. Tous les âges (ados, adultes et 1 bébé) s'y sont retrouvés, grande piscine sécurisée, beau jardin, espaces agréables dans la maison.

Superbe propriété !

Nous avons passé une superbe semaine entre amis avec enfants . La maison est encore plus jolie que sur les photos ( plus lumineuse ) . Nous avons pu profité des nombreuses activités et visites qu’offre la region . ( accrobranche , kayak , grottes , villages ) Petite remarque pour les parents de jeunes enfants : le parc de la propriété n’est pas clôturé . Nous y retournerons avec plaisir !

Détente dans une magnifique propriété

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Douelle. Nous étions 14 personnes, adultes et enfants. La maison est très confortable, spacieuse, propre et fraîche (ce qu'on aimait beaucoup quand il faisait très chaud). Nous avons veçu dans le jardin, près de la piscine ou sous les arbres. Idéal pour des vacances en famille ou avec des amis!

Excellent séjour entre amis

Le propriétaire est très gentil et de bons conseils. La gentilhommière est très agréable, très grande et très propre. Elle est bien située ( proche du lot, nombreuses visites à faire aux alentours). Le parc est le lieu de rêve pour les enfants! A recommander absolument! Réunion de famille ou entre amis.

Propriété pleine de charme

Lieu magique et "hors du temps", nous sommes tombés sous le charme du "Moulinat". Nous avons réunis dans cette belle et grande propriété nos enfants et petits-enfants et, de 2 à 66 ans chacun s'y est senti bien . De grands espaces intérieurs conviviaux, un beau parc entouré d'arbres, la piscine, le Lot à deux pas, toute cette belle région , sans oublier l'accueil chaleureux des propriétaires, tout fut sans fausses notes. Nous y reviendrons .

Wonderful house, in a wonderful part of France

We stayed for two weeks with friends. M Boone was always very helpful. The house seems good value for money to me, and there is plenty to do in the region. We walked regularly to Douelle for meals, and cycled in the area. The kitchen is a fabulous sunny space for meals, and the local wine was excellent. Not every room has its own bathroom, so you need to plan sleeping arrangements, but there is lots of space, good wifi, and for a few days we comfortably accomodated 12 people. If you have more, there is a separate apartment available. A great holiday!

Excellent séjour hivernal dans ce charmant manoir au coeur d'une splendide région. Notre groupe de plusieurs familles a pleinement profité des lieux, qui sont vastes et ont gardé un caractère "d'époque". Le propriétaire est très accueillant. Nous recommendons chaudement cette adresse.

Superbe!!!

Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique en famille et entre amis. Nous étions 5 couples avec enfants de tous âges et ce n'est pas la place qui manque. Nous y avons pu organiser une fête de famille dans le parc avec plus de trente personnes et profiter de cet endroit qui est en dehors du temps et au calme. Ne le dites pas trop car c'est un coin de paradis à préserver!! Mr Boone le propriétaire est des plus accueillants et c'est fort appréciable. Il vous fera partager sa joie de vivre, et son amour de ce lieu qu'il vous invitera à partager sans modération.. bref nous avons adoré notre séjour et nous y reviendrons avec plaisir..A noter petits lits dans certaines chambres pour les grands gabarits.
