This was a lovely and quiet spot just outside Saint Mere Eglise. We walked into town (15-20 minute walk) for the Airborne Museum and cafes. Stephane was a responsive and good host.

Lovely stay

Lovely renovated barn just outside of Sainte Mere Eglise, in a beautiful peaceful location. Within easy distance of WW2 beaches, museums, Caen, Bayeux etc. This is our 2nd stay at the barn and comes highly recommended, Hosts are very friendly and happy to recommend places to visit.

Good location

Very well presented property in a quiet countryside area within easy reach of SME. Lots of places to visit within a short drive although many of them were closed when we visited in mid-September which was a surprise.

Wonderful location to the D-Day beaches

The cottage was perfect for our weekend trip to visit the Normandy area and memorials. Our hosts were very helpful with suggestions to eat, shop and even which routes to use. The family is so sweet, she even brought us homemade biscuits for all of us. I would highly recommend staying here and hope we can return on our next trip.

Perfect Trip

Stéphane and Virginie are wonderful hosts, and their cottage is clean, cozy, and in a great location. My family really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very close to Sainte-Mère-Église and the N13 highway, meaning you can quickly go up and down the Normandy coast. The cottage itself is rustic in all the great ways, with old architecture that has been modernized to ensure you are comfortable. If we ever return, we’ll be sure to stay here again. Thanks for making it a great stay.

Wonderful Home

The property was clean and quiet. The property is close enough to St Mere Eglise you could walk, but far enough away to be at peace. Plenty of markets, bakeries, and restaurants nearby. My wife and I stayed for nearly two weeks and loved the home. We had to change our schedule multiple times to meet work requirements and Stephane and Virginie worked with us to make it happen. We cannot wait to return!!

Wonderful Little Cottage

We stayed here as part of a larger trip to France. We spent 3 days exploring Cotentin Peninsula and Normandy including the American invasion beaches and a day trip to Mont Saint-Michel. The cottage is in a rural setting a few minutes from the center of Sainte-Mère-Église. We were met by the owners who live behind the cottage who welcomed us and showed us the cottage. It has a large open bottom-floor w/living, a dining table, and a nice kitchen. Upstairs are 2 bedrooms w/large comfortable beds w/a bath in between. Bedrooms have a slanted ceiling to one side and each has a skylight/window that opens to let the breeze in. We enjoyed leaving them open at night and being able to hear nature. Nice deck off the front door that has a small stream that gurgled underneath, very relaxing for morning coffee. Good location to the main roads for exploring. Several good cafes and shops in Sainte-Mère-Église. Also, a nice-sized grocery store in town, if you want to eat in. BBQ on the deck also. Note, Sainte-Mère-Église is not Paris, expect most shops and cafes to close around 19 hours (7pm). Wonderful hosts and we would definitely stay again!

Schönes Haus in ländlicher Lage mit guter Anbindung. Wir haben von hier aus alles im Cotentin gut erreichen können. Der Gastgeber war sehr freundlich und das Haus hatte alles was man braucht ( außer Handtücher, aber die hatten wir dabei). Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier bleiben.

Die Fotos in der Beschreibung entsprechen exakt der Realität. Eine sehr schönes und sehr ruhig gelegenes Häuschen in 18 Minuten zum Meer und den Landungsstränden. Sehr gut an das Verkehrsnetz angebunden. Ideal für viele Ausflüge. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und sehr hilfsbereit, als wir bei der Anreise ein Problem mit dem Auto hatten. Vielen herzlichen Dank. Idéalement placée à deux pas de Sainte-Mère Église, logement confortable pour un couple et très bien équipé. Les environs regorgent de sites naturels (les plages du débarquement, la Douve, la Vire, la Taute,etc.) pour de belles balades à pied à vélo, en bateau ou en canoë.

Wunderschönes Grundstück
