The Gîte de Fourg welcomes you in a village of Franche-Comté, located 30 km from Besançon, on the edge of the forest of Chaux, one of the largest forests in France.
This house, with its enclosed garden, is ideally located for visiting the rich heritage of the region, enjoying nature and tasting the specialties of the region.

You will be accommodated in an independent house of 120 m² where you will find:

• on the ground floor :
- an entrance with its vast storage spaces
- a spacious fully equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, ceramic hob, convection oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, Senseo coffee maker, toaster, raclette and fondue set
- a living / dining room equipped with a wood stove, flat screen TV with Orange TV, DVD player
- a bedroom with a 140x200 bed
- a bathroom with Italian shower
- Separate toilets
- a laundry room with a washing machine

• the floor is served by a corridor with a large library. You will find :
- a bedroom with 2 beds of 90x200
- a bedroom with a 140x200 bed
- a games room with books and games available for all ages

• outside
- a barbecue, a terrace, with its garden furniture and its parasol are available
- the garden and the courtyard are closed for the safety of children

A closet is present in each room.
A cot and a high chair are available on request.

- Besançon, the citadel of Vauban and the Royal Saltworks of Arc-et-Senans, these two sites are classified as World Heritage by UNESCO
- the Saltworks of Salins-les-Bains
- the Loue valley with Ornans and the Courbet museum
- Arbois and Pasteur's house
- the many waterfalls in the region: the Hérisson waterfalls, the Tufs waterfall, the Lison spring, etc.

* if you want to enjoy the local gastronomy, you can discover the roads of the Comté with its 180 cheese dairies, the Maison du Comté in Poligny, the wines of Arbois or the local delicatessen

* if you are more athletic, you can enjoy a descent in a kayak or canoe on the Loue, embark on a climbing course or via ferrata

* if you like being with your feet in the water, you will find a body of water 5 km away (Osselle beach) and you can enjoy the various lakes and rivers in the region

* if you have your feet on the ground, the Véloroute n ° 6 passes through the village and the mountain bike routes of different levels and the hiking trails allow you to meet everyone's level from the house
