Beautiful and cozy!

Our stay was fantastic. The cottage was clean and cozy, we absolutely enjoyed our stay. The sunset was spectacular and we lucky enough to see a pod of whales.

Pleasant Bay

The cottage was perfect, nicely decorated, with a closed in porch and large deck. The view was terrific and the place was well located for easy sight seeing tours.

Fall Colours on the Cabot Trail

We loved your place! Your decor is so cute- just wondering where you got all the “flip flop” accessories. It was wonderful to stay where the coffee and tea was provided. All your toiletries were appreciated also. We liked the outdoor walk down to the platform and your fire pit. Only wish that we had allowed more time to enjoy it! We definitely would recommend your beautiful spot and hope to return ourselves when in the area!

Beautiful location in Pleasant Bay, ocean front!! Saw whales from livingroom window!! Sat on the waterfront deck to catch the beautiful sunset. The Villa was charming with unique flip flop details...the owners were attentive, offering us tips, insights and any assistance if needed!! A wonderful villa stay in Pleasant Bay!!!

Canada Day Weekend

We had a great weekend! Only thing that wasn't good was one bed squeaked loudly when you rolled over. Enough to wake you up many times a night. Very nice and peaceful deck.

We stayed at multiple places on our trip and this one was by far our favourite. The view from the deck is absolutely gorgeous. The cottage was immaculately clean. We felt so cozy due to the cute decorations. The little porch with the sitting area is such a nice touch. We immediately felt at home when we got there. It is easy to tell that the owners take great pride in providing a comfortable experience for their guests. I loved that there were board games and dvds to choose from. There is a little walkway in the backyard that leads to one of the most beautiful views you could ask for ( greenery and the beach). There was a little restaurant a few seconds down the road called The Rusty Anchor where we had supper and the food was excellent and the service was really great. We went to a little gift shop called Cardinal Points that was also close to the cottage that had lots of souvenirs to choose from and many snack choices to have with our movie. The service at the gift shop was also great. The lady working was so friendly and gave us great tips for the remainder of our stay. Every experience we had in this little community was a pleasant one. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

We loved our stay here at the flip flop Cottage! It had everything that we needed and was very clean. But most of all we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the water! This was an ideal spot to stay for exploring all that Cabot Trails had to offer. It was also very handy to have the Rusty Anchor restaurant so nearby! We would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Set in the heart of Cape Breton National Park, this charming cottage is the perfect base for daily explorations. Decorated in a cheerful flip-flop theme, it offers all the essentials, plus a patio and a large terrace. Its highlight is a private platform, where you can watch the sun set over the Atlantic. With a bit of luck, you may even spot seals, whales, and bald eagles passing by.
