Incredible chateau and grounds!

This historic building is spacious and well provisioned, with plenty of bedrooms (some of them have to be walked through to get to others but kids and teens don’t seem to mind). The grounds include beautiful gardens, woods, tennis court, small swimming pool and the owners are helpful and communicative. Paul the caretaker is so lovely, however it helps if you can speak french with him! Thank you Thierry and Marie-Helene, we will definitely be back!

Charming old house with fabulous garden

Character property with interesting features and lots of space. Tennis court and grounds excellent. Caretaker Paul very helpful and responsive but little or no English spoken so French a necessity. Pool was useful for cooling off in very hot weather but definitely only a paddling pool.

Amazing house

This is a wonderful 800 year old chateau set in extensive lawns and woodland. The owner speaks good English and was very helpful. The downstairs has 3 double bedrooms one of which has a en-suite with toilet and there is another bathroom with a separate toilet. The upstairs is accessed from a separate outside door and has further bedrooms plus a bathroom and separate toilet. The house is well set up for active people with tennis, badminton, table tennis and boules all in the grounds. No sign of a golf course though. We thought that it was fabulous but if you don’t like low doorway and steep stairs it might not be ideal.
