Thanks for your kind words. Very much appreciated. We hope to see you again.
This property on a quiet road was perfect for morning fall walks to start the day and star filled skies to end the day. Picturesque views and easy drives to nearby fun in Big Timber for unique shopping and nice hiking into the Crazies. We had plenty of room for 3 generations. The TV room in the basement allowed us to have fun after the littles went to bed. Room for all of us. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare and cook with fun family meals in the dining room. Host was easy to communicate with. We would love to come back in the summer. Access to the Yellowstone River is a definite plus with this proprty! We had a fun fishing day. Thanks for sharing your property!
We rented this property for my family, my parents and my brothers family. Eight of us total. We had full intentions of fishing but the flood diverted us to sight see and enjoy the property which is beautiful. The host and his family were nearby and super easy to deal with. We enjoyed our stay!
Perfect place for a peaceful, getaway in the country!
We had a wonderful time staying in the 3 story farm house! We greatly enjoyed the 800 acre ranch which offers several fishing and swimming ponds, Sweetgrass Creek, the Yellowstone River, hiking and biking trails, (two bikes came with home) and lots of deer, turkey and all manner of birds to watch and listen to while hiking/biking or just relaxing under the trees.
This is a peaceful and quiet place and we hope to be back in the near future!
Dan was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with!
Perfect spot for our family celebration. Plenty of space to spread out. The basement was more than we asked for with 2 bedrooms and a tv area. The well stocked kitchen had everything we needed for cooking 3 meals a day. The fishing was challenging for out of towners. Would recommend getting a guide if you are fishing the Yellowstone. Overall the place was amazing and we really enjoyed ourselves.
My husband, son and my daughter and I stayed here for a week. Fairly easy to get to, had some great sights on the way there, saw mount Rushmore the day prior. The house was clean, very roomy, it practically had a fully stocked kitchen. We used the grill out back , enjoyed the enclosed front porch and had a fun time with the fishing and swimming ponds. We made sure to check out the yellowstone River and other fishing sites around, and went to Yellowstone park and Lewis and Clarke Caverns. We loved the house and the area, the hosts were great and answered any questions we had as well as taking the time to show us the property. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks for writing such a kind review. We hope you can return soon.
Sincerley,
Dan V.
Great house in a great location close to big timber, yellowstone, bozeman, livingston. Rivers were high and muddy in early June. Fishing not great. Better later in summer we are told. House is roomy and a great base for all our excursions. PLEASE watch out for rattle snakes. We stepped over one in the field leading to the sweat grass river on property. YIKES! It's no joke!

One fine spot!
This is a wonderful, very comfortable house with everything one needs for a fine family vacation. The house itself has a rich history and has been modernized to have air conditioning, wifi, dish washer and laundry on site. The showers are fantastic! We were a large group gathered for a big family gathering and had a glorious time floating the river, fly fishing, swimming, painting, hiking, bird watching(owls nesting right nearby!), and moon gazing. There's a pond to swim in and very scenic. It's private and secluded. Our family is so large that we also rented another cabin on the ranch, which was also very comfortable and equally well outfitted. The owners were more than gracious and seeing that all of our needs were met. They knew all the local sites to see and have very amusing tales to tell, should you be interested. They also are connected with an extraordinary 5 star chef, who cooked all of our meals for us, even tending to those of us who are gluten free vegans. Thumbs up to this vacation spot. I hope I can go back again and again!
lovely stay. my only suggestion would be a better map of the property just to make it easier to get certain places and to make clear that even if there are no trespassing signs you are ok to go there.Had everything we needed. Did all the activities both on and off the ranch.thank u

Thanks Tara. We have updated the map based upon your suggestion and look forward to having you all back to MT sometime soon.
The property is situated in an easy to reach, but somewhat remote part of Montana, that comes closer to the experience of living in much of the West for the length of the your stay! The stay was great for our fishing access and a few area hikes, reasonable drives to bigger cities. but far away from most other toursist overwhelmed activities!

Glad you enjoyed your time on our ranch and sincerely appreciate your taking the time to write a review.
The house was quite charming and spaciious. We were very appreciative of the air conditioning. The house and area were perfect for a remote getaway during COVID. The house contained everything you could want. This property is typically used for fishing getaways organized through the owner's travel company and that is why it has a low profile on VRBO. With COVID the fishing trips have been cancelled. We were grateful to get the change to stay there.
