About this property

Purple Haze Lavender Farm

There's just something about our cozy, comfortable farmhouse that keeps people coming back again and again. Purple Haze Lavender Farm was one of the first lavender farms planted and cultivated in the Sequim-Dungeness Valley and has since become one of its most beloved.

Purple Haze is a working farm that is open to the public, so if solitude and privacy are a priority, our farmhouse may not be right for you. Visitors are welcome to walk the grounds, including near the farmhouse, during visiting hours. Likewise, farm and gardening staff may be present at any time. That said, the farm opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. so before and after hours, you typically have the place to yourself.

Our farmhouse is plumbed to a small, single family septic system, so "septic system protocol" must be followed at all times. Likewise, all of the bedrooms are on the second floor and share a bathroom. There is another 3/4 bath downstairs that also features a
1–2-person sauna. Our farmhouse is "old-fashioned" in these and other respects, and that is part of its charm.

We invite you to enjoy a one-of-a-kind stay in our well-appointed, peaceful farmhouse overlooking the lavender fields and weeping willow trees.

Our house is on a septic system designed for daily use by a max. of 6 people. Do not put ANYTHING in the toilets besides toilet paper.
Septic system also requires that drain traps remain in the kitchen sink at all times. Do not put ANYTHING down the kitchen sink besides dishwater.
PLEASE adhere to check in and out times during peak season. We cannot accommodate early check in or late check out times in the summer months.

Absolutely gorgeous property! The farmhouse was spacious, comfortable, and the back deck was perfect for eating outdoors, playing cards, and visiting. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed exploring this lovely area of Washington. The lavender fragrance in the air was icing on the cake to the beautiful flowers and lavender farm. We are sold that Sequim is the place we want to be…too bad we couldn’t just stay and live in this farmhouse permanently!!

Just a gorgeous property. The garden and Lavender where in bloom. It is a business so there were customers at the Lavender Farm durring business hours. We stayed mid July so busy season for them. People were respectful and did not come onto the porches. We enjoyed the stay very much.

This would be our seventh year staying at this magical place. Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, we end up having the best year yet. I don’t know what made it more special than the others but it was just such an amazing week at Purple Haze Lavender House. Whenever I’m stressed I stop and daydream about sitting on the porch at sunset and smelling the amazing and subtle aroma of the lavender and listening the to bees and hummingbirds buzz. We cannot wait to be back next year. I wish we never had to leave. Thank you again!

Lovely Farmhouse

The farmhouse was clean and cozy, and had lots of thoughtful touches to make our stay comfortable. The property was beautiful, close to Sequim and to the Discovery Trail. We'd love to come back when the lavender is in bloom.

Great stay near olympic national park

Originally chose this place due to proximity to Olympic national park. Its location on a lavender farm plus the friendly staff turned out to be other great advantages to this place. The house’s size, furniture, and beautiful landscaping made our stay quite pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.

Farm in the City

Small oasis in the middle of Sequim. Felt isolated but quick access to Highway 101. We used it as a home base for exploring the northern portions of the Olympic National Park.

My naughty-but-nice hound dog Louie and I live on site; just far enough away to be out of sight and mind, yet close enough to be prompt and useful, in a pinch.

Whilst just under 2 miles from downtown Sequim/ Hwy 101 access, our farm is close enough to town for take-out, yet far enough away to be lured to sleep by starlight, the scent of lavender, and the songs of our resident tree frogs.
