Waterfront living / vacationing at it's finest. Beautifully remodeled 2 bed 2 bath , living room ( sofa bed ), family room ( sofa bed ), Kitchen , 2 large decks with views of Mount Baker, Cape George, Beckett Point. 2 large private yards. 2 large decks Step right out onto the beach and enjoy beach combing, swimming, crabbing, clamming, kayaking , primitive boat launch for kayaking , canoeing, paddle boarding and more. Fenced yard. Our well behaved pet friends welcome with a fee.
1 queen bed, 1 full bed and 2 queen sofa beds 8 , A 75" BIG screen TV and master bedroom tv.
Seals, Herons , Eagles are a common sighting ,and last fall a POD of Orca Whales !!! an incredible sighting !!! orca whales , again !!!
Our town of Sequim offers many wonderful restaurants From Fast Food favorite TOOTSIES which offers FRESH FRUIT and Veggies JUICES made to order, Gluten - free Breads , or OPTIONS of BURGERS GALORE, fresh Mocha Milkshakes.
Alderwood Bistro offers local Pacific Northwest Cuisine another Sequim favorite, Sawadee Thai and many more. Sequim is also known as THE LAVENDER CAPITOL of NORTH AMERICA our HUGE LAVENDER festival every year. In July !!! OUR SEQUIM IRRIGATION FESTIVAL Every May “ WHERE WATER IS WEALTH " is a truly fun time with our parades, car shows, logging shows and much hope to see you soon !!!!!!!

Exquisite, peaceful coastal retreat perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature’s beauty! The abundance of sitting areas and windows make it easy to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Sitting on the deck was a highlight, but the window seat was awesome! We saw eagles, seals, and a coyote. What a treat!

Will stay again!

Upon arrival key and lockbox were very difficult. Finally got lock box open and key would barely go into lock. It was rusty and tip was bent. Went to Ace in Sequim and got two new keys made and worked wonderfully and placed in lockbox. Colorful, rusty key was left by kitchen sink. No water or ice in fridge. Would have been helpful to know. Cocktails on ice were difficult first night, not so much. Left a bag of ice in freezer for next guest. Hopefully it wasn't thrown out. Lovely environment and seeing a lot of wildlife. Ferries with all the fog sucked! When we left we had to drive all the way around, 172 miles to get home. But made it home and we have memories.

Heavenly!

We had a perfectly lovely time here! Views were spectacular and the house was amazing! We ate out on the deck for every meal and kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed and more! And easy access to whale watching and hiking trails nearby! Thank you Candy and Brian!

Views for Days

What a lovely home and garden. Waking in the sunlit home was a special bonus. There was enough space for our group and the kitchen was easy for gathering. I loved the sound of the water and the porches...Amazing. Loved this area and great neighbors.

Great house with wonderful views. Unfortunately, the internet provider is unreliable, and so there was no internet/tv during the entire visit. Host tried unsuccessfully to find a solution. Not certain if this is an ongoing problem.

Kickoff to Olympic stay for family of 4

Diamond Point was a fabulous home base for our family of 4 with college age kids. After exploring the park, the wildlife refuge and multiple lavender farms over 3 days we would return to cook dinner and then spend the evenings on the deck watching the wildlife entertain. Our trip was made when a family of otters played their way down the beach in front of us! The kitchen is well stocked but no spices besides salt and pepper so bring what you may need. Beds were comfortable and multiple seating areas allowed for everyone to find their favorite space. Highly recommend!!

A true slice of heaven

We already live in Sequim, but no where near the water. My mum really wanted a waterfront Thanksgiving, and we found this lovely property only 25 minutes from where we live. We got our dates wrong and were unfortunately unable to enjoy Thanksgiving there, but my birthday fell on the dates we were there and we had a lovely little gathering with my cousins. Our dogs loved the beach and it was so fun to just stroll along looking for interesting pieces of driftwood and rocks. Loved, loved, loved to see the seals and otters that regularly swam by and seemed to like to linger. The pictures on the listing didn’t do the interior justice…it was well above my expectations! My mum was disappointed that the fireplace didn’t work, and the wood burning one was in a room we didn’t spend too much time in…but besides those two very tiny details, the property was about as good as it gets! The hosts were very amenable to our request for date changes as well as our request to stay as long as we possibly could! May 87 year old mum really did not want to leave. We really hope to be able to come and stay again.

A Top Vacation Rental Experience

Three things make this one of the top vacation rentals I’ve ever encountered: 1). Location. The home has an unobstructed view of Discovery Bay which is only 20 feet away. Serene and unspoiled with eagles and herons as neighbors. Miles of wild beach to walk on. But only 20 minutes away from Sequim and Port Townsend. 2). Amenities. This home is beautiful, spacious, and has everything you need or want. From the large deck areas with a grill to the fully capable kitchen to the massive high def TV in the living room. This place has it all. Did I mention the sauna? Or the fenced yard if you have a dog? 3). The owners. Very friendly, highly responsive, empathetic, and generous. You can’t find better folks to rent from. We’ll be back again!!!

Peaceful family-friendly getaway

Photos of this property don't do it justice -- it was very large and well set up for two couples or a family (and dogs!) with numerous sitting areas, multiple places both indoors and outdoors to sit and view the bay, and a well-appointed kitchen plus a grill that looked brand new. Large fenced yard, although somehow our 12 pound dog found a way to get out onto the road, so after that she was well supervised! (Private gravel road is very quiet, only leads to two other properties which seemed to be vacant during our visit). Super peaceful setting for long walks far down the beach. Saw seals, herons, bald eagles, and a pod of orcas on our last morning! Having a kayak or SUP available would be ideal for exploring the Bay (not provided at the site). Be sure to pack groceries ahead of time because it's a bit of a drive to Sequim or over to Port Townsend from this setting. The place was very clean and very comfortable; clearly a well-loved vacation home and the owners have collected lots of interesting pieces over time. Wifi worked well and the huge TV was a hit with some members of our family in the evening! Overall a great getaway.

Quiet beach house

This is a unique property.Enormous rooms, all furnished with high-end stuff, well-equipped kitchen, awesome views from everywhere. The only odd part is that the 'master' bedroom is immense, with a curtain separating it from the living room. This was fine for us- great view while lying in bed!- but you just can't lock the door. Everything is up-to-date and in good shape, and the location is awesome. Extremely quiet. There is a studio apartment on the ground floor under the dining room (which is also immense) occupied by a very friendly couple. We didn't hear them much, but they probably heard us on the deck above. Overall, if you have a family or group of friends who are 'close' and don't mind someone sleeping on the fold-outs, this is the place. Plenty of room to spread out, quiet lane for kids to play safely, big fenced yard with a willow tree for shade, beach is right there. Also a boat ramp about 200' away - not sure who 'owns' this but it seemed to be open to the community and we used it to launch our kayaks.

Peaceful retreat!

We had a wonderful stay here - Discovery Bay's waters were perfectly calm, making for awesome paddle boarding. The home's TWO decks were perfect for dining outside, watching for wildlife, and just relaxing in the sun. The home has great windows in every room, and three separate gathering spaces for lounging, etc. We were traveling with our young toddler and were able to use the huge walk-in closet for her sleep space. The walls were fairly soundproof too, so the adjacent living spaces didn't bother her at all. The bedrooms don't have solid doors, so do keep that in mind if traveling with children and need soundproof spaces. The master bedroom is huge, with magical views and a large seating area. The smaller bedroom is more private and tucked towards the back of the house. The rest of the house is perfectly furnished and well-supplied, including a massive TV in the living room. (I wish they would update the pics!) As for the location, it is located at the end of a private road. The drive up is a bit odd, it feels as if you are driving through someone's property - don't fret! It is so so quiet. You might bump into some neighbors, all of whom are very nice. But for the most part, you'll have a lot of space to yourselves. We spent our time talking long walks on the beach to beachcomb and paddleboarding into the bay. We saw seals (or the same seal?), bald eagles, herons, and gulls. In the water, we saw tons of bright red crabs and even a beautiful giant purple starfish.

Short but absolutely wonderful stay. So roomy and feels like “home.” WiFi was fast, kitchen had everything we needed, parking was great. Our granddaughter absolutely loved the views, just as much as we did. The owners are easily reached if needed.

Nature!

We only stayed for two nights in July, which is a shame, because this is a beautiful location. We saw seals daily. Private location, but neighbors were very friendly when we saw them. We visited one lavender farm when we were there, which was lovely. Candy communicated very promptly, and was friendly and accommodating!
